Hi, I would like to thank you Tippy for the great time we had in New Orleans. We had never used Airbnb before and didn’t know what to expect. The experience was great the house was great and thank you for the note, giving us tips on good places. We stayed up town most of the time.
Everything was great except your neighbor when you come out the front door to the left she was very rude and disrespectful. We were sitting out front on the steps smoking when we first got there. She came home and she asks who we were and what we were doing there. We said we was only going to be there for a couple of days, she said it would have been nice if she had been told, and went on to say that your all’s landlord was not going to like it and wanted to know if we had rented it off airbnb and I said yes she went in the door very rudely. We didn’t know if the landlord was coming over or not.
Made it uncomfortable from the beginning everyone else around was very nice. But overall we had a great time, and the house was great. Thank YOU SO MUCH for the Extra Bed we was so thankful. you are great would love to come back again.
It was my first time doing Airbnb and I was in charge of the lodging for the family trip to New Orleans in New Year’s Eve, so I was a little bit nervous i didn't want to disapoint my family.
But my family got curious about the airbnb system, just like me, and we also thought about the convenience of having a house, and a kitchen, to prepare breakfast and dinner, instead of staying in an hotel, and spending much more money.
So, I choose Tippy’s house for the decoration of her house. I really loved it. And of course, she also had room for six.
We got there and we weren’t disappointed.
Tippy wasn’t at home when we get there, but she arranged everything so we could feel completely at ease. She left a note with all the recommendations of restaurants, coffee shops, super markets. The neighborhood is great, lots of things to see, and not far from downtown. (Get a bike, NOLA is 100% bikable). Her house is very nice decorated and super cozy, the living room, the rooms, and bathrooms, the windows. The heating was set, so we could feel warm in early morning and in the evening.
My mom and sisters loved the stay (and the kitchen).
Mom’s husband was a little bit shocked for the whole experience (he said he would never be able to share his house) but I believe he also felt comfortable at the end, and even thinking about doing airbnb too. (He even said, wow it looks like she (Tippy) is super organized).
So, yes I give her an A. Staying at Tippy’s allowed us to have nice family moments around her kitchen table, and to enjoy NOLA, in a more authentic way.
And my whole family says: Thank you Tippy, for your trust!
Tippy was a great guest, and very flexible with checking in. She left my place in great condition, as if she wasn't even there. I recommend her to any host.
Tippy and her partner were wonderful guests, willing to be communicative with me upon their arrival and departure, and took great care of my apartment. They are welcome back anytime and have my recommendations!
I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Tippy. She is very inspiring and her dog, Tonto, is a very well behaved dog.
Your welcome back any time!
Tippy was a very cool guest. I wish I had more time to talk to her. Welcomed back anytime!
Tippy and her awesome dog Tonto were wonderful guests. I do so enjoy guests who look to my home for a getaway. Interesting life and doing wonderful things for good causes. I wish they'd been here longer. Left the apartment in great order, welcome them to your home.
Tippy and Tonto where great guests! Hope they come back and see us!
