I was in Seattle for educational workshop weekend. Yes. I did ask her after I changed the room since I was really unhappy with the booked 2 nights of Accommodation, I was not given a key upon arrival, I stood in ankle deep shower water that wouldn't drain in the tub, and I got no rest as the furnace two feet right next to the bed shook and blew every hour, and next room guest was up early 5am noisy with disregards in bathroom, in kitchen... I am sure Nora's other guest may have had positive experience, but I did not. I needed to stay extra few hours for my 4am flight that I had to change to. So I asked her if she could discount it since I got no rest the night prior and not even going to be there but a few extra hours. Nora was very stiff about it. In my experience, if my accommodation didnot meet my guest expectation, I have partially refunded them or made sure they could find other arrangement. My goal is always to provide value to guest. On a positive note, I did appreciate her letting me change the room after the other guest checked out.
