Hi, I'm Stefan from Berlin. I'm a 32y old medical doctor and anthropologist. I do research at the cross section of the two fields - medical anthropology. That's studying doctors & patients from a social science perspective and thinking about how modern medicine works and might work better. One of my favorite activities is teaching diagnostic strategies to medical students with the help of pop-cultural role-models: Doctor House and Sherlock Holmes.
From time to time I organize and skipper sailing cruises on the Baltic, Mediterranean or Atlantic seas. It's my favorite way of traveling - you get to places that are rare and beautiful, you have to work for every mile of the way. And you get to know people intensely.
In the last years I moved around the world a bit: Beyrouth, Caribean Island of Guadeloupe, Montréal, Paris. I like to welcome guests from all over the world, because for me it's a way of traveling without moving.
Other things I like: I love music, go to concerts, go climbing and play ultimate frisbee. And cooking. You can do me a pleasure by bringing your favorite recipe.
