Very friendly guys and a beautiful room. I really enjoyed my stay and would book with them again!
Had to stay a night in Cambridge, and luckily this room was available. Really neat apartment, great room (with a really comfy mattress) and great roommates!
I very much appreciated Ethan's kindness and hospitality.
The room was fine, clean and tidy. And it is very close to Harvard yard and the Science Center (only a 10 minute walk; or else, a few minute ride on the 86 bus, which stops just 100 meters from Waldo Ave.)
I only stayed a couple of nights, so my experience may not be very significant.
However, I must say a group of friends met in the apartment in the evening of the first night I spent there, and they grew very noisy. That was rather disappointing to me, but what I found VERY unpleasant was to find the toilet very dirty on the next morning (it was more or less clean in the evening).
Furthermore,my room was quite cold. Having to work at the desk, it became quite chilly there, and I had to go working in the library or in a bar. I sent an email to Ethan asking him to turn on the heater, but got no reply. And the heater remained icy cold for both days.
Lastly, I must say a previous reservation of mine was declined after I had already paid, because the host decided to increase the daily rate for the room (I was refunded, and Ethan offered an "in-between" rate - but still).
To repeat: my stay was short and hence my experience might not be rather significant. Possibly, have I stayed longer, I would have had the time to talk with Ethan and discuss all problems with him I am sure he would have helped.
Three very friendly guys and great hosts. It's a lovely big, light room in a very nice apartment. Highly recommended!
Setting aside a very serious discussions about gun legislation we are going to have next time I'm in town; these guys are awesome! Tremendously enjoyed my stay and after Hurricane Sandy ruined my travel plans Ethan was kind enough to offer me to stay for a couple more days. Highly recommend everything about this location.
Ethan and Adam were excellent hosts. They even offered to let me stay another night after my flight was cancelled due to hurricane Sandy. One fun thing about this place is that it's right next to Thirsty Scholar Pub, which is where the opening bar scene of The Social Network was filmed.
If you want to see the best of Boston and meet some great people, definitely stay with Dan, Ethan and Paul! They all know the Greater Boston area well and are always in the know of what's happening in Boston, which is helpful if you're visiting for the first time. From my experience with Airbnb, I've learned that the host plays a huge part in the accommodation you look for but I guarantee you'll have a great visit (and tour guides, if necessary) with Dan, Ethan and Paul.
