The Pied a Terre was a terrific value for Brooklyn. It's centrally located in the heart of Park Slope with shopping, bars, and restaurants mere steps away. The space was clean and airy, and the bed was large. Basic amenities were provided, including fast, reliable internet. We did have to purchase dish soap and toilet paper. Also, I hope the ensuing guests were able to enjoy our surplus of eggs.
All in all a good value.
Very nice and comfortable apartment. Bathroom is small, but adequate. So is the kitchen area. The bed is large and I slept very well on it. The place was spotless. Everything necessary was there. Would stay again if I needed to be in the area again.
Very close to everything. Lots of restaurants on 5th Ave (just around the corner). Four Metro stops are within 10 blocks. The Brooklyn Botanical Garden and the Zoo are both within walking distance.
The area is very safe, even late at night.
The apartment was okay a bit worn but spaceous a nice big bed . When we arrived the keys were not in the keybox as we had been told, however a phone call to the owner quickly resolved the issue and we were let in. If you have to stay in this particular area this is a good alternative to a hotel.
We were very happy with our stay in Maura's Park Slope Pied a Terre. The location was perfect with good restaurants, cafes etc just round the corner in 5th Ave. The subway and Prospect Park are also close by. The bedroom and adjoining room have high ceilings and seemed spacious; the bed was also very comfortable and we loved the charming mural on the bedroom wall. Although the bathroom is very small it was adequate and everything was very clean (thank you Anna!). We would definitely stay here again.
We liked staying at Park Slope and it is a very lovely neighborhood. Once we figured out how to work the television set, it was quite nice. The apartment had everything we needed and we were quite happy with our choice. We will probably stay at Park Slope again when we return to New York. Shopping was close by and the apartment felt quite roomy.
This room is very clean and comfortable. I love the bed, it's big and awesome! Can fit three people comfortably. The area is very nice, safe and easy to get around. 15 minutes walk to subway and 10 minutes away from Manhattan (Q express line, yay!); restaurants, bars, and grocery stores on the way home. the reception is pretty bad in the house tho. It's fine when you walk out to the street. You can hear the street and people from upstairs a little bit but that doesn't bother me and my parents at all. Especially my dad is really bad at sleep but he was fine with the noise.
Nice place all was well. Beautiful and peaceful area.
The apartment was all right, older not renovated ground floor apartment in a nice section on Brooklyn. Very convenient to restaurants, shops etc. If you book it and don't like overwhelming, artificial room scent, let the owner know - for us it was hard to sleep there the first night because the windows were taped shut and we couldn't get any fresh air. Also, make sure you don't leave anything behind when you leave - I left a large container with high end personal care products that had 'disappeared' when I came back for it half an hour later while the housekeeper and her daughter were cleaning the room. - I contacted Maura about it and while she was sympathetic, all she did was give me the housekeeper's phone number to discuss it with her - which didn't yield anything.
Maura has responded in a timely manner to all of my communications and questions. The apartment is as descibed, clean, tidy and comfortable. It is a great location! Thank you Maura!
