This is a great house in an interesting, attractive, and save neighborhood. Communication with the Rottners was excellent, and our week-long stay could not have been better. Walking to local coffee shops and restaurants is easy, and drives to most Philly attractions is no problem. We highly recommend the home, the hosts, and the location in this part of the city.
Looking for a quiet retreat that is walking distance to all the best restaurants in Fishtown? Andrew & Danelle's cozy home is the answer! Our group was 4 ppl, we stayed for 2 nights over Thanksgiving, and everyone left wishing they could stay longer. Both Andrew & Danelle were more than accommodating with any questions we had, and provided wonderful amenities for the home. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.
Danelle and Andrew were wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful home and the location is perfect-great restaurants within walking distance. They left very thorough instructions for everything you could think of. We felt very much at home during our stay.
The Philadelphia Row Home owned by Andrew Rottner and his wife was marvelous. It was in a very convenient location and parking was not an issue. The house was clean and comfortable. They are a very friendly couple who could not be more accommodating.
It was wonderful to sit down with my sister. brother-in-law and my fiancé and relax and talk about the day and life in general and this house gave us the perfect place do do that.
Andrew and Danelle have a beautiful home! My husband and I stayed along with another couple while we were in town. We had no issues making arrangements. Andrew met us when we got into town and we met Danelle on the end of our trip. The neighborhood was fun to check out. We used public transit to get around while in town and it was very easy to catch, with multiple options nearby. Another great airbnb experience!
I didn't get to meet Andrew because our schedules did not coincide but he was great at checking in with us and even left us some helpful recommendations. Self-check in/out was easy and convenient. His place was well kept, spacious and super comfortable. We were in town during some bad weather so parking in the neighborhood was a bit troublesome because of all the snow in the ground that didn't quite get plowed on the smaller streets but generally it wasn't too hard to find a spot few blocks away. The only minor detail I would point out is that they do not have a microwave, it's really not a big deal since you can use the oven but if you are traveling and just want to reheat something quickly & get on the road it isn't as convenient. Other than that the house has great amenities and Andrew's place is within walking distance of some great restaurants/bars in Fishtown. We had a great time during our stay. Thanks, Andrew!

We had a great weekend in Philly. The house was great, and exactly as pictured. My cousins were originally supposed to join my wife and me for the weekend, so the house was a little more space than we needed. It would have been perfect for 4 people. The house is a 10 minute walk to the metro, which was a little bit of a snowy hike for this Texan. I mostly dealt with Danelle, who was very responsive and very accommodating. They had clear house rules, which I appreciated. I never got to use the keurig, but I did try out some of the coffee houses in the neighborhood (I'd recommend Rocket Cat Cafe).
This Fishtown rowhouse was lovely--very clean and neat, well furnished, with comfortable beds. The neighborhood has good bars, restaurants and coffee houses. On street parking was relatively easy. Andrew and Danelle were responsive and easy to deal with.
My daughter lives in Fishtown and I wanted to stay close to her so it would be easy to visit - last year I stayed downtown and though the experience was fun - easy shopping, good hotel - I did not want to deal with the driving back and forth. Andrew and Danelle's home was the perfect solution. It is beautifully kept, warm, and comfortable...and was only a few blocks from my daughter. I appreciated the little amenities - especially the coffee beans ready to be ground and put in the coffee maker first thing in the morning. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Andrew and his wife were the perfect guests! Quick to respond, friendly, and trusting, they treated the space as if it were their own and left it spotless. They're definitely welcomed back and won my recommendation.
