I currently live in Toronto, Canada and I work with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals striving to improve paediatric care in Canada and across the globe. While I love my job, I'm also a travel addict. My travelling has taken a back seat to my career over the last few years, but with the help of airbnb, I'm looking to get right back at it.
I've found my way here to airbnb thanks to a romantic pair of friends that used this site with great success on their Parisian Honeymoon, and because my cousin actually has her amazing home (https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/172628) available here, too. So I've had the benefit of knowing people with great experiences as hosts and guests and I'm looking forward to planning my next adventure.
I've backpacked across Europe and I've camped my way across Canada. I'm not exactly what you'd call a high maintenance guest as I've slept in train stations, on beaches and mountainsides, or just not at all! I like to leave things better than when I found it, and that extends to people. I use humour in my daily life from work to friends to family; it makes dealing difficult situations a little less stressful!
One day I'd love to have a place to host people, but my one bedroom downtown apartment can't really comfortably accommodate a lot of people! So, for now, I'm just looking for places to be the perfect guest.
