vivi e lascia vivere
The room was nice and modern. The breakfast was good. The kiwis were amazing. There was also water in our room. The wifi worked great. The parking is not so great. I’d recommend asking the front desk person to go with you to show you a parking spot.
We were very happy with our stay at B&B Monte dei Pegni. We had a car, but it's probably easier to go by train.
Anna and her daughter were very good hosts, always nice to us and were of great help. Annas daughter even guided us by scooter from the hotel to the nearest free parking area. Anna doesn't speak much English but is using her phone's computer translation with good results. Her daughter speaks good English if there is a need for more complex interaction.
The room was very clean and with nice colors, and it looked fresh. The bed was big and very comfortable. Shower was clean and with plenty of room. The aircon worked really well and had a remote.
The location of the B&B is very very good, right at the heart of the old city, with restaurants and shopping just outside the door, yet it is completely quiet at night. It couldn't be better for an Agrigento visit.
One of the best reasons to choose this B&B is the awesome breakfast. There was always really tasty fresh bread of high quality, yummy pastries and delicious fruits, and Anna herself prepared excellent cappucino. It was really a breakfast one step beyond the ordinary.
Parking the car was very difficult. Free parking was hard to find due to competition and pay parking was 15-20 euro/night.
We used the car to drive around in the area to visit the Temple Valley, Scala dei Turchi and other sights in the area. It was a difficult location to have a car, but with a GPS it was possible to navigate even for us.
We are happy to recommend B&B Monte dei Pegni for anyone, singles, couples or families.
Very lovely stay at B&B al Centro! The room was very large, very clean, and great all around. Breakfast was also very good, it was absolutely lovely just to roll out of bed and have a delicious breakfast waiting. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend, and will stay there again if we return to Agrigento!
I couldn't be more pleasent about my staying in Anna's place. She helped me a lot from restaurant booking to giving advise for what to see in agrigento.
In the right afternoon I arrived in the bob, Anna offered driving me to the valley del temple.
The check out time is kind of tight but not a problem for me. She doesn't speak English too well but she's always more than willing to help.
The room itself is nice and clean. I love the shower room.
One more thing need to pay attention: I guess the address on the website is not correct so contact her before hand otherwise it's kind of hard to find it if you don't speak Italian.
In one sentence, well worth the money!
I stayed for 1 night at the hostel and it was great. The shower amazing. Very clean and cozy. They even prepared me an early breakfast.
Anna was a wonderful host. Her home was the best airbnb place encountered in Italy so far. Large bright airy and immaculate. Breakfast was also better than others so far. I would highly recommend her. The only downside is instructions finding her place and parking. Not entirely her fault as I have found airbnb deficienct in transmitting what hosts wrote. Language barrier but her daughter was able to help.
We went there for 1 night. The arrival was quite epic, as we got lost in Agrigento. Anna and the b&b staff were really helpful and helped us on the phone to find the place. One difficulty is that Anna doesn't speak english, but she did her best. Her daughter does and could help us.
Except that arrival difficulties, the room is perfect - comfy, clean, modern, without noise. Best breakfast we had in Sicily!
After a couple days traveling in Sicily and staying at great B&Bs, my friend and I didn't think that we could beat the experiences that we had already had. Imagine our surprise when we met Anna and her daughter Lorena who immediately made us feel like family members visiting their home. During breakfast, they sat and chatted with us and some other guests about Sicily, Agrigento, and life in general, not because they felt they had to but because they wanted to! Our room with two twin beds was very clean and comfortable with a nice adjacent bathroom. However wonderful everything else may be about Al Centro, nothing can top the fabulous breakfast. Anna goes out of her way to bring pastries from what may be the best bakery in Sicily and we were treated to a real feast that even included cannoli! We couldn't finish everything that Anna had laid out for us, but she let us wrap up the remaining pastries for a snack later in the day, which was so kind of her. The B&B is nestled in a quaint old corner of Agrigento, but inside it's all completely renovated, clean, and modern. It's also at the top of the Via Atenea, so you can stroll down the cobblestone street to find Agrigento's restaurants, shops, and gelaterie. We were concerned about visiting Agrigento's main attractions - the Valley of the Temples and the beach - without a car, but Anna gave us all the information for using Agrigento's bus system and we had no problems getting around. You can also walk to the B&B from the train/bus station, but Lorena kindly picked us up. There's no need to look for anywhere else to stay in Agrigento, because B&B Al Cento is it!
La notte trascorsa ad Agrigento è stata molto positiva; il posto è confortevole ed in una buona posizione per raggiungere il centro muovendosi a piedi; consigliato!
Anna and her daughters are great hosts! They are very helpful and kind. The B&B is the best we ever had. The breakfast is fantastic. Parking at Saturday and Sunday is difficult. During the week it will be no problem. (Ask Anna, she will help you...)
GPS will find via Atenea, the mainstreet.
Thank you Diana and Michael
