We are a family who loves to travel. We have stayed in many Aibnb-type places in the States and in Europe and we have designed our apartment to be just what we'd be happy with if we were traveling.

Overall staying here was better than a hotel, but I would not call it cozy. The place was neat, clean, spacious, and sterile. Furnished by Ikea. The big television set with satellite reception was handy during the World Cup. The bedroom's location is awkward, not because it's down the stairs off the kitchen, but because there's no door. The bed's mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to serve a light breakfast, except coffee filters (#4 cone). Be sure to agree on the best way to communicate with Deb. I was expecting to hear from her via airbnb text on my mobile app, and instead she sent me a direct email--which I was checking infrequently while on vacation. I didn't see a request to checkout early until pretty late the night before we left, I could have easily missed it.
This was such a nice, clean apartment. We used a pack and play in the large walk in closet and it worked perfectly. The kitchen also had everything we needed for a simple pasta dinner and breakfast. The location is in walking distance to many things- close to T and our friends. We also loved being able to stop at the park right by the house. It is important to note that the bathroom and bedroom are downstairs and kitchen, dining and living room (with pullout) are upstairs. We only stayed for two nights but it would have been a great location for a longer Boston stay.
We had a wonderful experience staying at Deb's attached, but private, apartment. There was every accommodation that we needed, and any requests were taken care of immediately. It was very nice area, off the beaten path. Nice park close by for a quick walk. Thank you for your hospitality.
Great apartment: clean, well equipped, and cozy. Quiet residential Brookline neighborhood with parks, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, T-stops, etc....all a short walk away. Thanks, Deb, for everything!
We had a great stay at Deb's place--it was obvious she knew what travelers need most. The place is clean and had everthing we needed: comfortable couches, plenty of light, clean kitchen with just the right amount of dishes, knives, etc.--and frest fruit for a healthful snack! This duplex is close to the T, Washington Square and Coolidge Corner. The queen bed is very firm but comfortable, and there are plenty of blankets if it gets chilly. The bedroom is especially quiet and has a ton of storage space all cleared and waiting for the guests to make themselves at home. We did! Thanks, Deb, for a wonderful stay in Brookline.
We were visiting our daughter in Brookline and had a super time!
The apartment was very clean and well appointed, with room to entertain another couple with great sushi delivered from Fugakyu (yummy) on a rainy day.
Plenty of coffee and sweetener greeted us before we got other supplies in. Very quiet and close to great shops and anything you might need, including T-stops to anywhere. We'll be back!
We stayed at Deb's place for the 2014 Boston marathon. The place is very nice and it suited our needs with a young child and three adults. It's clean, comfortable and very close to local amenities and transport. Deb was a fantastic host, responding to emails quickly before we arrived, meeting us on arrival and responding to any requests we had. I'd highly recommend staying here.
It was my first time in this site and I was a little bit worried to rent a house as I have travelled from Italy. Sometimes not all the surprises are good. But I can assure that all the positive comments about the flat and the hosts are true. The house is very clean and pretty. The hosts are very nice and reliable. But I would suggest this accomodation for the women like me who are travelling alone. The location is very safe and there is everything! The T is just a walk. And there are restaurants, super markets and shops along the main street. You really don't need a car to reach the downtown of Boston. I would have loved to stay here!
The apartment was comfortable and nice and the kitchen well equipped. Location was great. However the pull out sofa is not a real sleeper sofa . The bottom section does pull out but is very low to the floor and only for one person not two.
I wanted to move in forever after spending two nights at this lovely, impeccably clean duplex! The bedroom is large and quiet, the bed extremely comfy. Deb was a most gracious host. The kitchen had everything one would want, and the apartment is totally private. It was the perfect place to stay and I will again, next trip to Boston. I also made use of the small DK Boston guide left for guests. It had great information that gave us some really good places to eat and shop. Thanks, Deb!!!!
Deb and Eli were great guests. They are very nice people, asked allot of good questions about the area and fun things to do and offered some suggestions to us to help make our guests more comfortable! We appreciated their feedback and would enjoy having them return in the future!
