We are a family who loves to travel. We have stayed in many Aibnb-type places in the States and in Europe and we have designed our apartment to be just what we'd be happy with if we were traveling.
The apartment is very nice and comfy and is equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. Location it great too.
I booked it for my parents when they came visit, Debbie and Eli are great hosts and did everything to accommodate them.
I will book this place again next time my parents are in town and for all visiting relatives.
I really enjoyed my stay at this cozy apartment in Brookline! It is conveniently located, within waking distance, near the T, Washington Square, Coolidge Corner and Brookline Village. There is also a lovely park just down the block from the apartment.
The apartment itself is perfect for a short or long term stay as there is a full kitchen with an adorable dining area. Also a nice sized living room that got lots of morning sun. It was the perfect place for yoga.
My parents and brother came to visit me and needed a place in Brookline for 12 days in November. Deb's apartment was so conveniently located that we didn't think about it too long. Everyone was so happy with the choice!
The apartment is all renovated, super-clean and fully furnished. The first night, my brother noticed there weren't any extra heavy blankets, but a phone call to Deb fixed all that. By the end of the day my brother had all the blankets he needed! Deb and her husband live right next door, and they are very nice, so if there is any problem whatsoever they can respond to it quickly.
The location is another big plus for this apartment. It's conveniently located close to Coolidge Corner and Washington Square, both places full of shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The MBTA Green line also goes by there, so you can be downtown rather quickly.
The next time my family comes back they will definitely check back to see if Deb's apartment is available. We all recommend it!
Everything worked out great, place has everything one needs, very clean, quiet safe neighborhood. Communication was easy. Debbie was nice, not intrusive, helpful with recommending places to eat. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice, just renovated duplex. It's obvious that a lot of care and thought went into putting it together.
The location is excellent, in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of many restaurants, a grocery store, and public transit (green line) that will take you directly downtown.
Deb was a wonderful host, very caring and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.
As this was our first venture in using the Airbnb host service, we were a little nervous about travelling more than 3000 miles and finding the accommodation was not as we hoped for.We had no cause to worry. Our hosts Debbie and Eli were welcoming, helpful and supportive, but they allowed us our space and never intruded. The duplex was perfect for our needs, affording us excellent space and comfort. You get a fully equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, a dining area with plenty of space for 4 if required, together with a lounge area which sports two comfortable sofas, all on ground floor level. The bedroom is downstairs, cosy as in snug but definitely not small. There is also a large walk in changing space with a room wide rail. A nice bathroom and a utility area with washer and dryer. This property met all our needs as we could get to downtown Boston in just over half an hour including a walk to the T. Coolidge Corner is an excellent environment with plenty of shops and both Brookline village and Washington Square have their own attractions. The duplex is on the corner of Griggs Road and Washington Street which is a busy road but we never found this intrusive, especially at night as the location of the bedroom shields you from any road noise. Any reason not to rent this duplex? Not in our view, and we would be very happy to return.
Deb and Eli's place is wondeful, 5 stars out of five. The location is convenient to everything, and there's a bus to the Longwood Medical area just across the street. The apartment is very clean (just done over) and beautifully appointed; they have thought of everything for your comfort. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with all manner of appliances and kitchenware. The bedroom gives on to a walk-in closet, and a separate washer and dryer are just on the other side of the door for your personal use. The bed is wonderfully comfortable and the shower is great. But the best is Eli and Deb. Solicitous but discreet, caring but not obtrusive - they are a great team. We had a one-night shutdown of electricity through Nstar's fault. Deb called me while I was at work to tell me she noticed the electricity was out on my side. She and Eli ran extensions from their side of the house and when I arrived home, and saw the apartment from the outside, they had done such a thorough job, I thought the electricity had been turned back on! I was not inconvenienced at all, and they even bought me a wonderful Thai meal so I would have something warm to eat. They are really lovely people who will make you feel very well taken care of. They offered me fresh tomatoes from their garden, fresh fruit on the table, a cold raspberry/lime bottle of water in the frig (which was much appreciated after a day of traveling). They were very accommodating about check-in so that I could start my stay a little earlier and recuperate in comfort from my hectic morning. They provide all the amenities so you can just bring your suitcase and start your best airbnb yet! I will be back . . .
Deb and Eli were great guests. They are very nice people, asked allot of good questions about the area and fun things to do and offered some suggestions to us to help make our guests more comfortable! We appreciated their feedback and would enjoy having them return in the future!
