We are excited about our trip in the spring, 2014, because it's such an adventure to explore a different culture. Rather than staying in tourist hotels, we love the idea of driving the country, staying in people's homes and hopefully meeting locals. While we want to see the many beautiful sights of a country, the idea of meeting people, hearing their stories and sharing our own experiences is at the heart of our motive for travelling.
Since our 5 children are growing up (three married with only one 16 year old son still living at home), we get to do more fun things together. We enjoy relaxing, reading, jazz and good food. We are pretty easy going people who appreciate the differences of other people and enjoy discovering common values with people we meet.
