We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great and feels just like home, and it works very well with kids. Asenah is the perfect host, respecting privacy appropriately but also providing a warm welcome and brief notification of events in the area.
The host was awesome and the room was clean, private and comfortable. Had a wonderful time!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Asenah's Cottage. It was light and welcoming. Though as someone else commented it is close to train tracks. We brought our white noise generator that we use at home and had no problems sleeping.
There are a lot of separate but connected sitting spaces so it was easy to be doing different things but still feel like we were together. It was a good place for our family with me and my husband, 21yo ds, and 14 yo dd.
Being walking distance to the Marietta Square was a big plus. There are many really good places to eat there, we ate at an recomend : Taquera Tsunami, Jacks New York Deli and Thaicoon Sushi Bar. The Farmer's Market on Saturday morning is a really good one with lots of variety and many vendors.
If we vacation again in the Atlanta are we will be sure to see if this house is available.
A pleasant walk-out unit in a lovely neighborhood, easy walking distance from the town square, restaurants, farmers market, etc. The keyless entry is very convenient for visitors who may arrive separately. George and Asenah are delightful and very welcoming. We also appreciated the luxurious and abundant towels.
Response from Asenah:
Thank you so much for staying with us and please return for a longer visit.
Asenah was a super host. You know they care when they send a text at 11:30 checking on us since we had not checked in yet. Then, there were fresh cut flowers in the apartment when we got there. Asenah also left us a hand written note about the farmer's market which turned out to be awesome.
The apartment was perfect for us--so much more like home than a hotel is. One of us could sleep in while the other made noise moving around doing stuff and never interrupt the other. Plus, it is located a little walk from the amazing Marietta Square that has a ton of cool independent restaurants and unique stores.
We would definitely stay at this place again.
Response from Asenah:
Thanks you and please come again.
The home is in a wonderful area of historic Marietta. It was very clean and comfortable. Only thing I would recommend to others is the railroad is very nearby and if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. George and Asenah were very good hosts. Great communication and very responsive!
Response from Asenah:
We appreciate you staying and have not heard from your friend on the baby blanket left behind.
Fantastic place and location - Hosts were great - Will stay here again!
Very Cozy! We enjoyed our privacy.
Easy guest to host. Would have him again
It was such a joy to give George hospitality. He is such an easy going guest. He is thinking about to open an Airbnb too, I really can encourage him to do so and as I had the chance to get to know him, he will be an awesome host! Thank you that you have chosen our place to stay a night in this beautiful area! Hope to be one time your guest in Atlanta!
George was a great guest. He was friendly and left the room just like he found it. We're looking forward to having him stay with us again!
Lovely, quiet guest who kept our apartment neat. We can recommend Asenah to other hosts for sure.
George was a great guest! He was easy to talk to and a pleasant guest. I would recommend him to any other BnB host.
Just like last time, George was a courteous guest whom I enjoyed hosting. He's welcome back anytime he's in town!
George worked out well during his business trip. He's welcome back the next time he's in town.
George was a great guest. I hardly even noticed he was here. We had nice conversation over breakfast. He is friendly, sociable, and independent.
George stayed in our home while on business in the Charleston area. He is charming and fun to talk with. He has traveled a great deal around the USA and I hope he considers staying with us again.
