Great little place for a short stay in Paris. Perfectly located and Léa was very helpful.
The reservation was canceled 25 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The flat is in a good well connected area. Supermarkets, metro stops and launderettes are near. The host was great when i first moved in, she left me with written instructions of how to use everything in the flat. The flat is a little run down. I was not happy with the cleanness to the flat when it was left to me. The flat was full of animal hair and dust and just general dirt. The host also seemed to think it was appropriate to leave all of her personal items all over the small apartment. (photo frames/shoes/ornaments etc) I quickly put these away but when it came to checking out she was quite rude and abrupt about wanting everything exactly where she left it showing no regard for my own preference as a guest. There is not much storage as every cupboard appears to be full of the hosts clothes etc
I stayed here for just over 5 months. I would recommend this flat for a week or 2 but for a prolonged time I found it a bit difficult to use. During my stay there were quite a few problems with the boiler and the electrics.. which left me with 11 days without water. (the host assured me she did her 'best' to fix it as quickly as possible). She told me I would have to shower at the neighbours house which was extremely awkward and I left very uncomfortable. I was refunded 50% of the waterless days. The host made me feel very uncomfortable for asking for a refund, I found communicating with her about these problems really stressful and she was again quite rude and abrupt.
The kitchen Is ok, very simple. The bath tub is what I can best describe as a 'sit in sink' with a shower attachment. Novel for a week or 2 but 5 wintery months of clambering grew a little tiring. The bed is a pull out sofa, which are quite common in Paris. I quickly got very very fed up with this sofa bed and didn't find it at all comfortable (especially difficult to share)
Lastly the flat is up 6 flights of steep stairs.. you get used to them but are no fun at all with bags full of shopping.
when it came to checking out the host told me i had left it 'uncleanly' when in reality I left the flat a lot cleaner then I found it!
Léa et son ami ont occupés notre appartement pendant 1 week-end pour visiter Lyon. Agréable et ponctuelle, tout c'est parfaitement déroulé !
PS : Encore merci pour le café ;-)
