I love to travel and explore, visit old friends and make new ones. Usually I stay with friends, but sometimes it's nice to stay someplace were you don't feel like you're being rude if you take off and do things on your own. That's why I love Airbnb! I like hotels, but they aren't very homey, and I've always enjoyed having that experience. When I traveled overseas I always preferred pensions. I'm a behavioral intelligence researcher and specialize in video ethnography so that explains my yen for a people connection. Since I'm inquiring to stay at your place and you may want to know more about me you can check me (email hidden), or @cultrdig. Not a shameless self-promo mind you! Just in case you want to check me out and feel re-assured that you're having a somewhat respectable person staying in your home! And no, I won't be videoing your bathroom! ;-)
Can't live without caffeine. I know it's supposed to be bad for you but I love life and I dont want to miss anything. My motto? "Life is short. Be awake for it". That works on more than one level doesn't it?!
Used to live in Hudson Valley. Storybook property. I listed it on (website hidden). Have to say I never had one bad experience. Everyone that stayed there left it better than I did for them! I had a fabulous kitchen ( im a foodie) and half the time people would never leave the house! They would stay the entire weekend and cook and bake. They would leave me bottles of wine and samples of their creations. Really sweet.
Well that's all about me that's to fit to print. Looking forward do my stay! All good things to you - Valerie
