My review of Shanon's place was objective, and fact based; I didn't complain about the carpet, I simply said that it was the kind of gray-blue wall-to-wall that one would typically find in an office space, which, again, this place seems to be (or have been in the past). I DID say it was clean, which it was, and reasonably priced, which it was. It is true, there are many places, restaurants and such within walking distance, I am in error about that, but again, Shanon has taken my objective review as if it was a personal insult to her, and an attack on her property which was not my intention. She's absolutely right, she was very welcoming, and I'm sure would have dealt with any complaints I had; But I sincerely, really "didn't feel like dealing with it," meaning, I was GOOD with it, that it was no big deal; not to be taken personally. I think that the peer review part of AirBnB is crucial to subscribers, and being "flamed" like I have been here ("not someone you should trust in your home"? Really?), doesn't lead one to want to submit an objective review in the future; I truly apologize to Shanon, my review wasn't meant to be taken personally, I just calls 'em as I sees 'em. I HEARTILY recommend staying here; I just have reviewed the accommodations as objectively as I know how to. To question my "motives" (whatever that means) is unfortunate and uncalled for.
