I'm a writer and part-time tour guide for the ship cruises that visit Acadia National Park. I'm also a University of Maine Master Gardener Volunteer, so I enjoy gardening and am now trying to restock my gardens with native plants rather than imported ones. When I'm not gardening, I'm singing in two chorales, both which sing classical music.
My house is nestled in a forest setting, and the dogs and I are never far away from what I call "The Wild Kingdom." Miles of forests stretch behind my home, and we often explore them. Coyote, beaver, porcupines, fishers, snowshoe hares, and other forest creatures (even a bear or two) are our neighbors.
I'm also an Acadia Park enthusiast, and think I'm lucky to live in the most beautiful part of the United States. I'm eager to share information about hiking trails, biking routes, climbing routes, canoeing and kayaking trips and rentals, whale watches, light house tours, lobster boat experiences, scenic drives, and excellent restaurants in the area. I want you to love the area as much as I!
