I'm Irene (originally Peruvian, Spanish background) and I've booked a trip to Lisbon in November with my friends Chele and Stephanie (both English). We used to live the 3 of us together in London a few years ago. Now Chele and I live in Brighton, Chele with her husband and 2 kids, me on my own. This will be a break for Chele from family life and when we thought of Lisbon (it will be our first time) we had to ask Steph as she lived there in the early 70s with her very young kids and Portuguese husband back then. She goes back regularly. Steph is in her early 70s now and Chele and I are mid 40s so, we're not intending to go party all night (although I'm sure Steph will be up for it :) but walk around, discover the city in no rush and have a pleasurable time around. Sounds like Alfama is the perfect place for us to stay!
We're going in a sort of a 'budget' so wanted to confirm that kitchen / fridge are all usable and working conditions to be able to have some meals at home?
Can't wait! Cheers,
