I have just returned to New York after living in Montreal for the past five years. I just began my post-bacc at Harvard so I can go to med school, which puts me in Boston once a week. My favorite thing to do in life is travelling and what better way to do it than by connecting with others who appreciate it as well!
My favorite places I have explored thus far are Morocco and Costa Rica, and I am really excited to spend New Years in Belize!
I split my time between school, reading, sailing, painting, and the every now-and-then game of pickup softball. My favorite book is Lolita. I like all types of music from Jack Johnson to Metric to Billy Joel. I am always interested in meeting people, seeing new things and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone to experience life.
I am new to Airbnb, but I am not new to being someone's guest. In the past year, on two separate trips to Costa Rica and Puerto Rico, I arranged a place to stay through condo/apartment rental websites, so i am not new to interacting with people in that sense and to staying in the environment of someone else home or property. Over the years, I have increasingly shied away from staying in hotels - they simply lack a sense of home and uniqueness for the most part. As for my style of travelling, I have been initiating my own travels, both group and alone, since I was 14. I am very independant and as a result I am very responsible and reliable.
