I love to decorate and have an eye for re-purposing vintage items. I take pride in my home and would love to share it with you.
Lauren's place was fantastic. She was a wonderful host, made herself available and even brought us cake! Super friendly and welcoming.
From the moment we booked the Otter side of the house, Lauren was so helpful and accommodating! We are from out of town but were in town for wedding planning (we're getting married in NOLA in November :)), and we thought her place would be amazing to take some engagement shots in! When we told her, she also offered for us to use the Wolf side as well in the morning because the lighting was a little better early in the am. How nice!! Check in was super easy, the place was beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. We have no complaints at all. The neighborhood at first glance can look a little sketchy, but we had no issues at all. Highly recommend Wolf and Otter!
Lauren made the check in process very seamless. The apartment was just as pictured, we loved all of the little antiques she has! She also provided a lot of useful information about where to eat and places to see in NOLA which was very much appreciated.
Thanks for the kind words. Hope you can come again!
We had a great time staying here for a girls trip! Everything we needed was provided, and we had plenty of room (there were 5 of us). The co-owner was also there when we arrived, and she made sure we had everything we needed as well. She also gave us some tips on how to get around to the other areas of the city. Lauren was also very easy to get in contact with while we were staying and gave us lots of info about yummy places to eat. It was an easy walk to the French Quarter (about 15 minutes), and a short Uber drive to other areas as well. This place was so cute. We loved staying here, and we would definitely like to stay again!
Thanks so much Josey! Glad you ladies had a good time.
The Airbnb ist really nice furnished and very good equipped.
You will find everything you need there.
The location is very good too. You can walk to the french quarter in about 15 Minutes.
Very close to thr Airbnb ist a nice market, where you can have dinner or lunch.
Lauren and Breeze were wonderful hosts! When I booked both sides of the duplex, Lauren helped me figure out the payment so I wouldn't have to pay two booking fees. Lauren provided clear instructions on to get into the apartment, and suggestions on where to go in NOLA for New Years. When we arrived, there were gift certificates to a local bakery and plenty of suggestions on other places to visit in NOLA. It was well-organized and really stream-lined our trip. And the apartment was just BEAUTIFUL. They obviously have done a lot of work on the building and taken care of every single detail. Thank you, Lauren and Breeze!
Thanks Poy! You are always welcome back.
This listing has got to be the cutest Airbnb I've ever stayed! Also, Lauren is a fantastic host. She responded quickly to all my questions, and even left us a little Welcome note with a gift from St. Roch's Market. Would definitely stay here again.
Thanks Mikaela! Really appreciate it. :)
Lauren’s renovated double-shotgun served us well for a holiday visit to NOLA. We enjoyed staying close to amenities such as the foodie (email hidden)ch Market, healthy choices at the New Orleans Food Co-op, and yummy coffee and pastries at Saint Coffee. We took in all the architecture and culture of the Marigny neighborhood on our daytime walks back and forth to the Quarter. Uber made the evening commutes from Frenchmen Street very easy. It’s also relatively easy to connect to the freeways for our out-of-town tourist trips.
Café au laits in the morning on the back patio before the sun got too warm. The house is on the leading edge of the ongoing gentrification of NOLA, so we enjoyed the variety of neighborhood characters as we drank Abita in the shade of the front porch in the afternoons. Everyone had a smile on and holiday best wishes to share.
My family was comfortable in their quality beds and linens. The kitchen was stocked well enough for me to make a fresh seafood bake for Christmas dinner, dirty rice, and a locally-made key lime pie from the St. Roch Market for dessert.
On-site laundry meant only having to pack a couple days of clothes. It’s nice not having to drag heavy luggage to NOLA, since their airport is outside the city.
Finally, Lauren continued to stay in close contact during our stay, answered questions quickly, and provided high quality service.
Thanks so much David for all of your feedback. You were an incredible guest.
We had a lovely time staying at Lauren's place. She is easy to communicate with and we had no issues! The house is adorable, plus she has lots of great info about local happenings. We loved st. Roch's market:)
Thanks Jennifer! Have a wonderful new year!
Lauren's place looked exactly as it was described and looked in the pictures. Beautiful, comfortable and clean. The backyard was perfect little place to hang out as well. She was extremely helpful via text if we had any questions, or wanted suggestions for food. Definitely would come back to stay here.
Lauren let the flat perfectly clean and tidy. She is great and is part of the people you can trust in ! I was very glad to meet her and she is Welcome again in my place, anytime !
Lauren et son petit Paul ont été des voyageurs charmants. Cela a été un plaisir de les recevoir.

Miss Lauren is a pleasant and respectul guest.
Hoping to have her again at Luna Llena!!!!
Sweet girls and a lot of fun, I hope they had a good time for new Years. I think they did! Sorry they had to go back to Frozen New York
Lauren was a wonderful guest. She left things as she found them and was quiet as a mouse. Looking forward to a return visit and would highly recommend her as a guest!
Lauren and her mom were such charming, wonderful guests! We loved having them stay with us. They even made friends with our resident "ghost!" We'd love to have them come back anytime.
Lauren is a sweet Southern Belle who knows the true meaning of hospitality. Her home exudes warmth and charm, not simply because it's clean as a whistle and decorated with artful purpose, but because Lauren is so welcoming and thoughtful. The place is even better than the photographs, because you have to be there to feel the love she has put into it.
I've known Lauren since 2002, and while that's too long to know anybody, really, I've kept her around as a friend not just because she's good lookin' but also because she is an amazing, funny, kind person. Also, her places are just as amazing as she is. And clean. And filled with cool vintage stuff. Lauren knows how to collect cool old things. Like me. I'm cool and old and bald.
Staying at the Hurley property has been the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience of my summer so far. Secluded from the main roads, it is a perfect retreat among the tall pines, trails, and coy pond. The home itself mingles contemporary design with sturdy country warmth - it is classic, comfortable, elegant. Lazy days spent by the glimmering pool surrounded by a canopy of rich green foliage are the perfect anecdote to city life. Star gazing at night is a must. Lounging in the hammocks is unavoidable. It's the perfect recipe for decompression and serenity.
