Let me say that as a good host I want to make my guests feel at home.
In the first place, you asked me, as a favour, if you could stay in the apartment until 20:00 on the day you have planned to leave. I said to you that there was no problem. Back then, I didn’t have any more guests booked on that day. The time passed and, among many things happening in my life, the apartment was booked on the day you were leaving. In an effort to please all my guests, I asked you if you could leave earlier than 20:00. I offered you a free day which you declined, together with other options which you declined them all.
I am really sorry if what happened upset you but I was trying my best to accommodate everyone.
Airbnb wasn't the one who decided that you could stay until 20:00. It was me who had to accept your stay due to us not being able to get to an agreement.
I had to book a room in a hotel nearby for the guests coming to stay on that day. These last guests were comprehensive and pleasant people and accepted my apologies for the inconveniences caused.
Everyone can get involved in a difficult situation like this one and be empathic and comprehensive is useful and less stressful in these cases.
