A bit of a nomad, I enjoy spending my time experiencing new places. I am happy to rent out my apartments whenever I am not using them, and meet fellow travelers in the process :)
We had a 5-day city trip to Berlin and decided to stay at this lovely appartment in trendy Prenzlauer Berg. It was perfect. We didn't meet Tina as she was abroad but instead we met Dina who let us in and showed us around. She had many good tips of things to do in Berlin and especially how to get there. The appartment was very clean, not too big but for the two of us large enough. It has a cosy atmosphere and has been decorated in a great way. We felt home at once. The appartment is ideally situated near several public transport connections and there is a Kaiser's supermarket which is open 24/6 at nearby Schönhauser Allee. You can even see it when standing in front of the building. We had a really great time in Berlin and would surely choose this appartment next time in Berlin.
Un pisito súper acogedor, con todo lo que necesites te lo encuentras, situación mejor imposible, entre gran vía y sol, todo a mano restaurante, tapas, café, tiendas y más tiendas, muy recomendable
Great location, central madrid , in a really cosy appartment!
L'appartement de trouve en plein centre. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de place au vu des murs mansardés, mais c'est convenable pour 2 personnes.
Very nice place on ground floor with a nice garden with play ground on it! a little too soft bed for my taste but the rest very good.
Also for kids in the area: very good "kinderkafe": "Milchbart" - cafe specialising in serving kids and their parents.. lovely soup and 2nd hand and design sale of clothes.
The apartment was super cozy, organized and clean. Our parents felt awesome. Recommended.
It was our first experience with airbnb, and we would do it again!
Perfect communication: eg. Sonia sent us detailed informations about the best way to the get to the apt by public transport. Her nice friend lubo gave as the keys, explained everthing and gave us sonia´s tips for bars and restaurants.
Perfect location: In the heart of Madrid, nearby several metreo stations. We very enjoyed the tiny but nice terrace. In front of the house there is nearly no traffic, but at night it is a bit loud because of party people - but thats madrid ;-) and if you close the windows you nearly hear nothing.
Perfect apartement: It was like on the photos and very clean and nice.
To sum it up: We passed three very nice days in Sonia´s apartement.
This is a decent sized, well equipped (literally everything you could think of was there!) apartment, right in the center of Madrid. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week, and our only complaint was that of other airbnb guests: the ceilings! I'm 5'1, and my boyfriend is only a few inches taller than myself, and we still were able to run ourselves into the ceilings more than once. Aside from that, we really don't have any complaints. The deck was lovely, and the dining and living room made for some really wonderful nights in. We honestly felt at home in this apartment.
Nice place, clean, bright, and spacious, in a great neighborhood.
The apartment was the perfect spot for our first trip to Berlin. It was spotless and looked exactly like the photos online. It was great home-base to come home to and relax every night. There was a double bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa so it was perfect for two of us traveling as friends and nice to have a washing machine after traveling a bit.
Tina's friend met us at the apartment and gave us easy directions to take public transportation from the airport to the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and there were a number of coffee shops and restaurants in the area. The apartment was about a 10 minute walk to either the Schönhouser Allee stop where you can pick up the S41 and S42 and the U2 trains, or the Eberswalder Straße stop where you can get the U2 train. (the U-Bahn is more like a subway making more frequent local stops and the S-Bahn covers longer distances with fewer stops).
There were a number of maps and restaurant recommendations for us in the apartment and the wifi worked flawlessly. We were also about 15 min from the Sunday flea market at Mauerpark. There was also some nice local shopping and dining one stop down on Kollwitzstraße.
Overall, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again myself on my next trip to Berlin.
Wonderful guest highly recommended to everybody
