I am a husband of 36 years, a father of two daughters, an Anglican Priest, Pastor of Saint James for 14 years, a missionary to Guyana, S.A for 6 years and preparing for a Sabbatical in 2013.
Arthur is one of the nicest people you can meet. A charming person, he blended in well here at the local community. I highly recommend hosting Arthur.
I have known Arthur for over 14 years as both pastor and friend. We have been together in a variety of situations, from vestry meetings to group retreats, and from weddings to funerals.
As a traveller, Arthur runs the gamut. He is a husband and father of two girls, whose family is from North Carolina. He is accustomed to family travel, but likes to be a bit more adventerous as well. Through mission trips and trips on his Harley Davison, Arthur puts himself in situations where he meets new people and shares their life experiences. He is not reckless, rather eager to know more about the breadth and depth of God's creation and creatures.
Before Arthur became a priest, he was a pig farmer in North Carolina, running a rather large operation. His farm gave him a broad base of experience dealing with people, animals and business. He has a wonderful mix of business acumen, education, country wisdom, and pastoral awareness.
Arthur is a straight-dealing person, with no hidden agendas. You can expect that he will be as up-front with his expectations as much as he will respect yours. He is honest and fair, and expects the same of those he deals with.
