We strongly recommend! The best place in tokyo! =)
Stay in Nathan place was just perfect. He take care about everything, you have a big space place in Tokyo close to the subway, clean and functionally. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer. You can book without any doubt.
My friends and I had a great time at Nathan's flat! It was a perfect base to discover Tokyo and it's neighbourhood in itself, Roppongi, is very rich in restaurants and activities.
Nathan gave us many informations to go out with a great list of restaurants and bars. His hospitality made fill us almost at home.
We totally recommend Nathan's flat for a stay in Tokyo!
Nathan was generous with his time in giving a tour of the hood. He was approachable and accommodating. The apartment could easily accommodate three couples comfortably. The location is ideal close to the Metro, quiet and offers a variety of options for grocery shoppping and/or restaurants. The two bathrooms were especially a rarity in Tokyo. I would go back there.
The location of this apartment was great. It is really close to Roppongi Hills, which has lots of bars, restaurants and art galleries. There is even an observation deck at the top of the Mori Tower where you can go up to the 52nd floor and look out at the urban sprawl of Tokyo.
The apartment is also about a 3 minute walk to the subway, which is fantastic, as this really is the best way of getting around. There are three different subway lines in the area, so between them, you can pretty much get anywhere in Tokyo easily.
The apartment itself is very spacious, with two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry, and a living and dining area. There is definitely heaps of room, which is quite rare in Japanese accommodation, so it's perfect for a group of four, or a family with a couple of kids.
Although we didn't get to meet the host, Nathan, I did communicate with him via email many times, and I found him to be responsive and helpful. He provided us with a great map of the location of the apartment and a list of recommended restaurants. He also provided us with wi-fi in the apartment, which was fantastic.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to people who are sick of staying in small hotels, and who need a bit more space while staying in Tokyo.
1) COMFORT. This is a huge apartment, especially by Tokyo standards. My family, including two boys, ages 5 and 3, were very comfortable in this apartment. There are two large beds and heating/ AC in every room. The 2 bathrooms were also very large. Although close to busy streets, the unit is so well insulated that you can't hear the streets.
2) AMENITIES. There is a laundry machine/dryer which was very nice for us Americans. If you want/like to line dry your clothes, there is a patio and I am sure the hosts can easily accommodate. Internet and TV was very easy to use. Big open kitchen that was easy to use for simple meals. We ate breakfast daily but ate out for lunch/dinner.
3) LOCATION: Fantastic. Short walk to Citibank/station/24 hour convenience stores/bookstores/Starbucks.
This large 2 bedroom apartment is located across the street from the Grand Hyatt and is a 3rd of the cost. Four of us stayed here comfortably and had extra spending money for the many nearby restaurants and bars. Nathan's list of recommendations were indispensable for navigating the nightlife. Our trip to Tokyo would never have been so much fun anywhere else.
Nathan's place is spacious, stylish, clean, and affordable. If you see this listing available BOOK IT!
Nathan and his friends were all beautiful guests. Nathan was very generous, kind, appreciative and understanding.
I would not hegitate to recommend him to any hosts in the world. Thank you for everything! I really appreciate it!
It was easy to communicate with Nathan. A guest that every host would love to have - clean and mindful. Absolutely no problems hosting Nathan and would welcome him back anytime.
