I'm studying English and communications. I currently work at a high end steakhouse and do free-lance writing on the side. I love wine and cooking, and especially traveling. I've been to Europe a few time and throughout the United States. Spain, primarily Granada is my favorite overseas destination, although Paris is of course wonderful. New York is my favorite in the states. I speak Spanish fluently and some conversational French.
As I said earlier, I love to cook. My favorite style is traditional Mexican and Spanish. My boyfriend recently taught me how to brew beer which is a lot of fun.
My other favorite hobby is reading. I have a weakness for Agatha Christie and Raymond Chandler but will read pretty much anything put in front of me.
When I travel, I'm up for anything. I like seeing the sights but dont like planning too much. I love local spots for watching and meeting new people. When I spent a month in Spain, I took the initiative and would grocery shop and cook for the friends who were letting me stay with them. I love taking suggestions but don't rely on people to entertain me.
