Dan was very prompt starting with responses to initial inquiry for availability for a last minute trip (his calendar was accurate for availability), and answering questions for the stay . The place had all the amenities that made a great weekend. The location and setting was exactly what I was looking for and had a lot of character.

This house was great. We would definitely stay again!
Our stay was great. Perfect crash pad while we were in town having some fun in the woods. Dan is a good host and provides you with all the necessary information. The house is definitely in a neighborhood with other houses close by. The lake is a moderate walk or a quick drive away. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes and the addition of the fireplace was quite nice. Would definitely go back.
Dan's cabin comfortably accommodated our group of 9, and was very clean and homey. The living room was great for all of us to hang out in, and had a great classic movie selection on VHS with some fun board games as well. Dan summarized everything we needed to know in a pleasant, quick phone call and was easy to work with on short notice to make the rental happen.
Clean well-priced cabin. We were a group of nine adults retreating for some fireside time and ski/snowboarding at Camelback. Note that if you're headed to Camelback from Dan's and it's winter, use 80 rather than backroads because (website hidden) does not reasonably anticipate plowing situations. Although it lists up to 10 for guests, there are only 8 spots for beds (two doubles and two sets of bunk beds - it's clearly in the description but the two other spots are sleeping on couches in the main area. Just worth knowing before you go! Definitely warm and cozy; will keep in mind for future group trips, maybe even in the summer!
I stayed with a small group of friends in Dan's cabin over a long weekend and it was wonderful! The house is a great space, we comfortably slept 6 people. The living room area was an awesome place to play board games, watch movies and just relax. We went skiing at Camelback for 2 days while there and that was a very easy 15 min drive from the house. There is a beer/liquor distributor and a walmart both about 5-10 min away. Dan is extremely responsive; there was about 4 feet of snow while we were there and the driveway hadn't been plowed upon our arrival. I called Dan and he had someone plow the driveway almost immediately. If you're looking for a nice getaway with great activities close by, this cabin is a great place to stay and Dan is a great host!
Very good about keeping in touch before and after the trip. An overall very enjoyable experience.
Second time at Dan's cabin... and just like the first time we had a wonderful time. Dan is very friendly and easy to get in touch with and very quick with replies. The cabin very cozy. Heat works well, never run out of hot water, nice indoor fire place and two nice grills outside for grilling lots of meat....
Dan, and his cabin, were fantastic. Dan was super responsive and easy to deal with. And the cabin was exactly as promised -- a wonderful place to escape for a few days and just plain relax. Plus, close to restaurants, shopping, casino, etc.
