Very good location in the East Village. Perfect for one, probably a bit crowded for two, but the price is right, and since most of your time will be exploring downtown and going to all the sights of San Diego, you may not even notice. Amber is very attentive, and easy to get a hold of if/when needed.
Amber's place is amazingly cozy and is located at a prime location in downtown San Diego. The place is clean and well lighted. I definitely choose it again.
Everything is as Amber describes about her space. Very kind and accommodating. The location is perfect and Amber helped make our experience fantastic!
Amber was an excellent, gracious host. Her place is in a fantastic location that I was fortunate to find during my first visit to San Diego. I didn't use her parking pass so I can't comment on that but everything else was great.
Amber's place was great for my stay in SD. It's conveniently located in the Gaslamp District with a very close walk to the baseball stadium, restaurants, bars, and the convention center. Plus, it's a quick jog to the water for a nice running route. Furthermore, she had all the necessities I needed for my business stay: internet, free parking, and a self-made guide to the area.
Nice small studio with great view. Amber was friendly and helpful. No complaints!
Great place. Great location. Great host. Would return again.
Amber was an excellent host and her apartment was great! It was well-located in a modern building, and was nice and clean just as you see in the pictures. Amber was communicative, flexible, and friendly. She had helpful material and everything was organized and smooth. I would recommend this to others and would love to stay again!
(The reservation was canceled the day of arrival. This is an automated posting.)
This is to warn other potential guests that this host is UNRELIABLE. My reservation was cancelled the morning of my check in which was to be on Feb. 3d, (actually within around one hour of my check in). I had received a confirmation from this host that my check in was still on as recently as 24 hours before check in and had been in regular touch with her prior to this, but then she abruptly cancelled it. What is equally as troubling is had I been the one to cancel the reservation, I would have had a large penalty but evidently she incurs No penalty for sudden cancellation. Also she can do this again to other unwitting guests according to the policies at Airbnb. So, take my advise, avoid renting from Amber.
I stayed at Amber's loft for a conference at the convention center, and it was great. It's about a 15 minute walk to the convention center, closer to the cluster of bars and restaurants, but still pretty quiet even on Friday and Saturday.
The place itself is clean and bright, with great windows. The Bose radio with iPhone dock is a cool touch as well.
I didn't actually get to meet Amber, since our schedules didn't quite sync up, but she was really helpful over email, and left a very useful packet of instructions.
Definitely check this place out if you are in the area.
