Portland has been my home for over a decade. I try to take advantage of the city's proximity to nature as often as possible. When I am in town I tattoo and enjoy Portland's amazing food and drink.

Staying at Willis' home made our escape to Portland from Southern California perfect! Everything was super-clean, neat and ready for us when we arrived. The location is terrific, just steps from restaurants, the best coffee (in my humble opinion), and public transportation. This is a great way to experience the people and sense of place in Portland. Thank you, Willis!
Excellent experience! Willis is super friendly and very careful with pre-chatting and communication to be sure all needs and expectations were met. The place itself? Super-darling artist's home with excellent built in beauty and so many kind and loving touches. This is no mere sterile Ikea-furnished junky rental!! This is someone' loved, detailed and meticulously appointed secret fort and YOU get to stay in it! Its like your best friend went out of town and left you the keys. Perfect neighborhood, perfect walking area, near everything interesting, quiet, breezy, private, the works. And the price? Win-win. Totally stashing this one in my go-to for Portland visitors, and myself. Thanks Willis!
We had a fantastic trip to Portland! Willis' place is very cute and rustic/artistic. The apt. is in a good area, close to a food truck hub and a few coffee shops. You can take the bus further down Division Street to some of the best restaurants and little stores. A quick bus ride will also take you to the very cool Hawthorne district.
Although Willis was not in the area, she was quick to respond to the issues we encountered on our arrival- unfortunately, the guests before us had left a bit of a mess..it looked like the apt. had not been cleaned after they had left. Although this was inconvenient, we made the best of it, and still had a great time.
My boy friend and I had a great time in Portland. Willis's place was a perfect spot to stay! Super cute! We would definitely stay again if ever in the area!
We had a good stay at Willis' place. She was very friendly and easy to reach. The apartment is very Portland - unique, cozy. The apartment is a little far out, but it is extremely convenient to a couple of buslines and within walking distance to Hawthorne and Mount Tabor park. There is no internet at the apartment, but the food cart pod close by offers wifi. Overall, this is a great option for a genuine Portland experience.
Fantastic experience from the very start! Willis was extremely easy to communicate with and made sure I knew everything I needed to know about the place and the neighborhood. They kindly recommended more than a few places to check out and totally had the in on places within our price range and comfort level. Checking in and out was seamless, and we felt right at home at their lovely apartment. As far as decor, this is your dream Portland landing spot. Vintage touches throughout; I could definitely feel the time and effort put into making the place feel homey. We were traveling by bus/foot and found the neighborhood to be extremely convenient and easy to navigate. Everything was less than 20 minutes by bus, but there was more than enough to do within walking distance. Our first night there we got rained in, but easily found ways to entertain ourselves and find sustenance within just a few blocks.
We couldn't recommend the place more! Willis was a great host and the place was everything we needed and more. Felt just like staying at a friend's house while visiting a new city. Thank you for everything Willis!
P.S.-the bed is EVERYTHING
Willis was easy to work with an communicative. She left a great list of places to check out and eat, and made us feel perfectly at home while we were there. Her apartment is authentic Portland and looks like it came out of a design magazine. So much vintage and yet clean and practical with large windows and an open airy feel to the place. It's right on Division a block away from an okay selection of food trucks some restaurants and bars. It's also only a short bike ride to the other shopping, dining and nightlife spots on Hawthorne or further down Division. I will certainly stay there again next time I'm in Portland.
Willis was a great host communicating with us and making us feel welcome. Her apartment is just lovely, full of light and character, and very comfortable. The location is very close to Hawthorne and Division with great shops and restaurants. It's also walking distance to a food cart pod. We had a car and were always able to find a parking spot right next to the building. We had a great stay and I would definately stay again!
Willis and her lovely pdx apartment are both gems! Great space, decor, neighborhood, etc. Willis was easy to reach, fast to respond and eager to accommodate, and had the best dining recommendations (check out Trinket). A++ all around. I will be back!
What a beautiful place!
Easy, great communication and she left the place very clean and tidy!
Willis and her friend were wonderful guests. They weer both super friendly and fun to talk to. Wilis kept in close contact about their arrival time so we could be here to greet them. They left the studio in beautiful condition. We hope they make a return visit someday.
