i am a mother of two children 13 and 14 years old. before I had children I worked mostly in salons doing massage. I like to try to eat healthy and enjoy life by practicing inner peace.
Great hosts. Really joyful and easy-going people. The true hosting types that you wish hosted every AirBnB experience. I even got snowed in and they dug my car and the long dirt road out to help me reach my destination on time! I hesitate to be too glowing because I want to go back in the summer with my family and I don't want them completely booked. But I have to give credit where it's due.
Susan and her family welcomed us into their home during this holiday week for a brief overnight stay on the cape. The space was ideal for our needs - namely, a warm place to lay our heads as we continued to explore the east coast. An added bonus - a roaring fire and the scent of pine from the Christmas tree in the sun room. She was accessible enough to be there when we needed her, but hands off enough to give us our space. And all the reviews about the views are spot on - the location is lovely!
We stayed at Susan's place for a night while visiting the cape cod area. It was a last minute inquiry and she was very responsive and easy to communicate with for check-in, so that was great. The room is ok, though nothing special. The house is located in a beautiful environment with stunning views from the kitchen and veranda. It's a good option for a night in cape cod when traveling on a budget. Susan was friendly and offered us bagels for breakfast which was very kind.
Susan was a very kind and welcoming host; she offered bagels and coffee for breakfast, and her dog Bella a wonderful pup. Her home is right at the edge of a quiet and scenic pond/marsh. It was great waking up to all the peaceful nature Cape Cod has to offer, it really felt like we were on vacation.
The location of Susan's place is as charming and picturesque as the photos suggest.
We enjoyed our stay here: As indicated by another reviewer: although it is a modest house, it is a warm and loving lived-in home for her boys and their lovable dog Bella. (a Marriott, it is not!)
The view from her porch, esp. when eating breakfast she prepared was memorable.
Susan was very kind and hospitable. I was working late on the cape one night, and was traveling from out of town. I needed a place to sleep for a night and Susan was very accommodating, her house was located in a serene and beautiful location, and her home was warm and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for an easier and more pleasant stay.
Very beautiful and quite location! We slept like roses.
Susan was a welcoming host and made us coffee and bagels for breakfast.
Susan is a very welcoming host, we sincerely enjoyed her and her family´s hospitality - not to forget Bella, the absolutely cute dog! The place is really nice, clean, comfy room - the environment (house on a beautiful lake, right in the middle of Cape Cod) tops it all, though! You need better pictures, Susan! ;) We´d come back any time and strongly suggest this place for anyone trying to get the real Cod experience.

Picturesque, scenic, peaceful home, you could hardly believe it is conveniently located right off a busy commercial part of the Cape (Rte 28 near Hyannis). You can walk to a pristine beach, or have access to private parking. The house is modest, but comfortable and clean. Family is sweet, welcoming and generous.
