i am a mother of two children 13 and 14 years old. before I had children I worked mostly in salons doing massage. I like to try to eat healthy and enjoy life by practicing inner peace.

My husband and I very much enjoyed are (all too brief!) stay with Susan. Susan made us feel welcome and we were immediately comfortable in her home. Her house is cozy, and fully equipped with anything one might need for a relaxing weekend. It's on a quiet back road with a view of the water - very idyllic! Susan offered us free reign of her kitchen and breakfast in the morning, with a nice little veranda on which to eat.
Susan made us feel very at home. Her house has a small town countryside feel, and is ten mins drive from Hyannis (bars and restaurants) and 20mins walk to Sea Gull beach. We shared the twin room and had sole use of the bathroom as the other guest room was not being used. Susan has a lovely dog, and provides a good breakfast. A great value base for exploring the Cape if you have a car.
Susan is a very lovely person. She made coffee in the morning and gave us bagels and she was very interested in everything we did. Unfortunately life gave her often lemons and because of her personal problems the house is very uncared-for. Nevertheless, if you only need a place to sleep for low money, its okay.
The area is nice and very beautiful, there is a lake nearby and a quiet beach within walking distance.
I loved how totally quiet the neighborhood was. Susan was respectful of my space as well as enjoyable to speak with. She has a friendly dog and I love dogs. Shower was great, bed was real comfortable. The location was close to a lovely beach with a jetty that I fished off of.
Susan was there to greet me upon my arrival. She was warm and friendly. She was very generous in sharing her home and had the room set up nicely for me & my son.
Susan has a great spot, right on the marsh. It is a quiet side street in a beautiful area. It's easy to get to everything. There are tennis courts right in the neighborhood and it's a great area for bicycling. I went out one morning and sat on the dock, watched the sunrise & the ripples in the water - it was a wonderful way to start my day.
I definitely recommend Susan's home for anyone to stay in and I would absolutely stay with her again.
Eine gute Option für eine günstige Unterkunft auf Cape Cod, wo man eh viel draußen unterwegs ist und das Zimmer zum Schlafen braucht.
Susan is very friendly. It was a great stay and we would definitely come back. This part of Cape Cod is great, the beach is amazing and there are a lot of nice restaurants around. Susans house is really nice, the room is great, the bed is very comfortable, everything is clean and Bella, the dog, is cute and friendly. The view is amazing and the beach is close, 20 min. by foot. Susan made delicious breakfast for us. We would have stayed longer, if we knew before how lovely it was. Thank you again!
We really enjoyed our stay with Susan. She was helpful in everything from providing directions to giving us an idea of where to go in the area, but also gave us our space and let us get settled. The house is located in a quiet area with beautiful waterfront access. Coffee and bagels in the morning was a much appreciated addition. And, of course, we loved Bella. :)
Checking in was a bit odd and frustrating. Susan wasn't actually home and she was unavailable at her phone number. Fortunately we were able, thanks to the help of the neighbors, to get her husband phone number and finally check in. Afterwards we understood it was actually a bad moment for Susan. Even though checking in was complicated, we found a very clean and welcoming house that had been prepared for our arrival ahead of time.
As soon as Susan was able to get home, she tried her best to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
Regarding the house and the neighborhood we thought it was amazing! You can truly relax at the sight of those breathtaking landscapes. There's a beautiful lake right behind the house and within minute of driving/walking you can also access a very nice private beach on the ocean!
Too bad we could only spend there a couple of days and didn't have time to enjoy the places longer!
We have a nice stay in Susan's home. It is very convenient to visit Cape Cod and the beach is only at 15mn walk (with children). Unfortunately, we did not meet Susan but her friend, Carol, was very nice and helpfull.
