Ariel's house was perfect for our family trip in DC. It had everything we needed. The location was very close to downtown. Parking was easy and safe. All in all, we had a wonderful time there. Definitely I will recommend it to my friends.
Ariel's home was just as described and exactly what our family needed. Its close proximity to all that DC had to offer was great. The kitchen was beautiful and fully functional. Ariel was very helpful with all of the information we would need make our stay comfortable and very quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.
My family of 5 (4 adults and a 12 year old) simply loved this house. It is a 15-18 minute walk to the Georgia Ave./Petworth Metro station, then 6 stations to the Mall. Total of about 25-30 minutes to get from the house to a Smithsonian. Three bedrooms, two beds and an inflatable mattress, a wonderful kitchen, dining room, living room and sitting room made it very comfortable for our family. Only one shower/bath combo in the house, but two toilets. Washer and drier in the basement made it very convenient to wash family clothes from our trip. Our host left maps and bag of fresh coffee beans, as well as a French Press.
The neighborhood is older, and there is no parking directly for the property. We parked on the street, but had no problem finding space each day.
The closest stores are a Safeway 3830 Georgia Ave NW, (Vons for you West-Coasters) and an organic food market (Yes! Organic Market). Parking is under the Safeway. It is about a five minute drive away, or a five minute walk from the Metro station.
This home as a highlight of our trip to the East Coast. Thank you!
We had a great experience staying at Ariel's. The house was beautiful and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and Ariel left us a generous collection of snacks. Coordinating timing was really easy.
Ariel's house is located in a lovely residential area. We were mostly involved with activities for a friend's wedding in the 'burbs, but we were able to walk to restaurants and coffee shops in about 25 minutes, and we could have easily gotten to the metro stop a 10 minute walk away.
The apartment is very light and spacious. There were four of us (two couples) and we had absolutely everything we needed. Two bedrooms, some space for work, fully equipped kitchen, etc. It is also well-situated: nice neighbourhood, lots of eateries around, easy to get to the downtown.
We totally enjoyed our stay.
Ariel and Karen were delightful to host. Their baby boy was adorable and sweet. They were respectful, quiet and thoughtful. They cleaned up after themselves perfectly and even stripped the bed before they left. These are perfect guests all around!
Everything was great! Ariel and his family are really nice people

It was a pleasure hosting Ariel and his wife. They were very polite, quiet and respectful. I wish them all the luck for the future and can definitely recommend them to any host. Come back soon! :-)
Ariel and his guests were great people. Clean and quite, in fact, if I hadn't seen their cars in the driveway, I wouldn't have known they were there. I enjoyed the time talking with them and hope to see them again in the fall!
