I almost didn't get the chance to stay here but the universe aligns in an unexpected way. I was supposed to stay at a different place but it did not work out and Martina (Francesca's sister) initially said the studio was not available. To cut things short, I got my 4 night slot at Martina's place.
Location? Pretty good. You can take bus #105 which brings you directly to Roma Termini (one tip: if you going from one neighbourhood to another, try to get a bus to Termini & find your bus connection there; rather than trying to find "direct buses" which do occasionally exist but with horrendous frequency). Martina's place is also close to Filarete tram station called Filarete which also directly connects to Termini. Metro A station is about 1.5km walk away (sometimes I did the walk if I don't feel like waiting for the bus).
As the name suggests, yes, it is a studio. A decent one. You enter into a double decked bed; each can fit in 2 person, I think. Then immediately there is the kitchen & a small seating area with a small desk with 2 chairs. Given such arrangement, 2 pax is the max, in my opinion.
I loved the bathroom. It features one of those jacuzzi shower. Overall, the bathroom is acceptably spacious given the space constraint.
Overall, it was a good stay for Rome. The place needs some additional (basic) appliance like a kettle, maybe? Martina was a super responsive host. When I was walking from the bus stop, she was already looking for me just in case I couldn't find her place. When the electric stove was not working, she came almost immediately to quickly resolve it. Superb host! Thank you Martina for the great stay in Roma suburbia.
Ciao Francesca, Grazie Martina !
It was just a nice little flat in Rome, with everything necessary inside, like dishes, cutlery, fridge, oven, stove and bathroom. Nothing exceptional, but good enough, for this price even very good ;) Additional pluses: air conditioner and a very nice hostess :)
