A 34 year old Interior Designer. Working for an architecture/ planning firm in Old Town Alexandria, VA which is about 11 miles from Washington, DC capitol of the USA.
I am an easy going and tolerant person. I love traveling, reading, cooking and remodel homes. I love searching for new music.
So far my favorite travel destination has to be Istanbul, Turkey. I visited Istanbul this year and I really liked it. The cost of living is still affordable and as a tourist you can still afford things. Haghia Sofia was beautiful and is so far one of my favorite structures - based on the feel of the building and the positive emotions I felt while in the building. It is an immense structure but the lighting inside it is set right above one's head, providing almost a veil of light above you and it makes the whole space feel more personal and more approachable.
5 things I would not want to live without:
One of my favorite foods is Banica (not sure of the spelling). It is a thin rectangular or triangular shaped thin filo dough bread filled with cheese that Bulgarian's have for breakfast with something similar to Kefir. Banica is amazing warm or cold!
I always try to leave the place that I found or have used as clean or cleaner than when I found it. I understand that people value and have put a lot of money in their homes and it is a privilege to stay in someone's house.
