Io ed il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, ma è sicuramente da riprovare.
Siamo stati accolti con calore e gentilezza in una casa stupenda e ben tenuta.
I proprietari sono stati molto ospitali e disponibili.
I stayed at this B&B with my husband and parents for two nights in mid June. Nicola was easy to communicate with and making arrangements for arrival and departure was very convenient. The rooms we stayed in were very nice - spacious, rustic in the right way, cool in the night, and with comfortable beds. They are located at the lower level, so can feel a little damp when you first open the doors. But a little air from outside quickly solves the problem and the bonus is that these rooms stay cool when it is hot outside (the B&B also has a couple of rooms on the main floor, with windows overlooking the garden). While the B&B has a wonderful rustic kitchen, we ate our breakfasts on a lovely terrace, surrounded by fruit and olive trees (it was nice outside). These basic details aside, the star of our stay was, without a doubt, Nicola's mother, Anastasia, who runs the B&B. Anastasia is a lovely person and a true ambassador for the region. She gave us lots of helpful suggestions about nearby towns to visit (such as Lanciano, Guardiagrela, and Ortona), helped us make reservations at some truly incredible restaurants (a tiny fish place located on a trabocco just outside Marina di San Vito was particularly memorable), and took us to the local wine cooperative to show us where her grapes are sold and made into wine. While Arielli, where the B&B is located, is not itself is a spectacular town (though it has some charm to be certain), staying on an olive and grape farm was wonderful. There were very few or no other tourists around in this part of Abruzzo, which is perhaps why everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful experience!
