Eduardo responded to our enquiry quicker than we expected and the communication was good. Although he wrote in Spanish, we could translate it using the Airbnb tools, and when we met him, he actually speaks quite good English, although he won't admit it :) He was a very friendly host, and the breakfast with his homemade bread prepared for us was delicious, especially the coffee. There was no WiFi, but we could use his computer. Note that all over Peninsula Valdes, Internet access is slow through the 3G mobile network. We can recommend staying on the peninsula though, as you then only have to pay the park entrance fee once and it is possible to have tours, whale watching, snorkelling with sea lions etc. on the peninsula. The house was simple but homely, and we had hot water in the shared bathroom when we needed it. We had the place to ourselves, but usually more can stay. Eduardo is also an excellent carpenter!
Cosy rooms 10 min walking from beach and city center. Eduardo is very nice and helpful. Thanks for good food and adventures ;)
I am still here; that tells its own story. Eduardo is a knowledgeable, personable man, very generous in his use of the house, and makes me feel completely at home. He bakes his own bread and has been responsive to my wishes, for example in providing a savoury rather than the usual sweet breakfast. There is no wi-Fi but Eduardo has shared his computer, the connection here is slow everywhere in P Piramides. Eduardo gave good tips for activities and tours here, there is much to do and I would advise a minimum of three days; I have been here 14 and am not finished enjoying everything. There is a piano and Eduardo enjoys music, but also respects some need for quiet. The house is on the edge of town so you can choose to be among the lively people or quiet; the only sounds are the wind, the birds, occasional dogs and a nearby cockerel, but my sleep was never disturbed. Wonderful.
