I am Architecture Student in RWTH Aachen (Germany). Originally from Azerbaijan, Baku.
Dilara's mother is a very kind and hospitable woman ,nice friend and a wonderful mother ..I espesially loved the location of house .,it is not far from the bus ,metro and train station .I really enjoyed meeting with Dilara and her lovely mother ,grandmother ,uncles ,aunt and cousins .I enjoyed the breakfasts and our talks during the evening tea sessions indeed .Thank you very much for your hospitality .
That was simply the best stay I've ever had so far! The accommodation was perfect, breakfast as well and the kindness to help in any circumstance was always there! Thanks so much again - I will definitely come back to this house at my next stay! :)
My sister and I stayed with Dilara's mother and brother for three days and were very touched by their hospitality. Almost all the time we were treated to tea accompanied by delicious home made jams, got plenty of recommendation for eating in town and had interesting conversations about Azerbaijan today. Dilara's family also helped us with a lost luggage at the airport, retrieving which took a few days and a great deal of phone calls. Their home is definitely a good pick for overpriced and insensitive hotel scene of Baku, especially if you are a single or independent traveller.
The hospitality of Dilara's family in Baku was even better that I could imagined. They helped us on so many small details, that is priceless. We also shared great moments and nice çay (tea time) with Dilara's Mum and brother. Dilara's home is clean, convenient and quite close to the city center, that made a perfect homebase for discovering Baku, the oil city.
It was a great stay at Nasibas home. Her hospitality and the kindness of the whole family made my time there very special. I enjoyed the meals and got a lot of usefull information about Baku and also other regions. With bus it needs just about 10 mınutes to the cıty centre. A perfect place for discovering Baku.
It has been a real pleasure staying with Nasima, Dilara's mother!
I fell terribly ill on my stay there and ended up in hospital and she too care of me like my Azeri mother! Her cooking is excellent, she is a perfect host!
Nasi is still working on her English and is very minimal, but Dilara translated via (website hidden) when needed and gave me a lot of recommendations of places to visit in Azerbaijan this way. I had a lovely stay here!
