Howdy! I'm Rick, 28, Kentucky boy displaced to Brooklyn. I love beers, tattoos and America. Gay as blazes but southern by the grace of god. Love to travel and very excited to join air bnb!

The three of us couldn't have been more comfortable or felt more welcome in Rick and Chadwick's home. A quirky, interesting and well loved space that was easy to relax in after a hard day pounding the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Particularly the patio for that first or last drink of the day!
Everything you might need is in the apartment or can be found close by. Make sure you visit the small deli, 3 mins from the apartment a little further up Messerole Avenue - daily fresh bread, croissants, home made soup etc.
The apartment is well located for getting over to Manhattan and staying in Brooklyn. The East River Ferry stops in Greenpoint and North Williamsburg aren't far away and provide a really good, scenic and fairly quick way of getting around (DUMBO in 15 mins, Wall St in just over 20 mins).
We had a fantastic week away and staying in Rick and Chadwick's lovely home made it even better. Certainly cheaper and we felt like locals, which is a great way to spend a holiday - getting to the root of a particular area rather than feeling like a tourist.
We would certainly recommend Rick & Chadwick as excellent hosts - I just hope next time we get to meet them!
Thanks again gentlemen! xx
Rick is the best. He has a great apartment in a really hip neighborhood in Brooklyn. Apartment is really cozy and stylish. And the back patio and garden is perfect spot to chill for morning coffee or a beer in the afternoon. I couldn't recommend Rick any higher as a host.
