After nearly 18 years in NYC, most of which time was spent as an international investment banker, I am now a mom living in the country on an antique farmstead. The main house was built around 1697 and is my next renovation project. The guest house is a wonderfully renovated barn (structurally by the former owners) and I have just added a fully custom kitchen. There are more projects I plan for the guest house but only when vacant!
We have close to 4 acres that we are clearing and erecting fencing for our future suri alpacas and angora goats. Currently, we have close to 40 chickens of differing breeds; needless to say, eggs are plentiful and I am happy to share! We also have a very friendly dog, a yellow lab who will likely greet you first. We welcome your dogs and cats provided everyone plays nicely and doesn't make an indoor mess.
I bought this property so I could be a stay at home mom and look forward to welcoming guests to our home. There is much to do in and around Lyme: summer beaches are everywhere, fall leaf watching is beautiful, nearby marinas, excellent restaurants, well run museums and art galleries, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos, hiking trails and boating venues, just to name a few. I am happy to help plan your visit if you tell me what you enjoy. We have picnic baskets and all necessary picnic accessories, and more for your use if you desire.
Thanks for considering a stay with us in Lyme and I look forward to meeting you soon!
