Great house. Jennifer made us feel at home with coloring books and toys for the kids. We wish we'd been there longer!
It's a lovely house, we had a great night there.
The Goldenrod is a great place from which to base a Bourbon Trail (or any other Central Kentucky) expedition! It is in a peaceful neighborhood just a few blocks from central Bardstown where a morning stroll will start your day off right! Jennifer greeted us with a welcoming note and the house has all the basics you'll need, with the sitting porch being a nice bonus. It's a great value and even better if you make use of the various sleeping spaces for multiple people as we did. Thanks for the space, Jennifer!
Very cozy house. Great place to stay. Very sweet note left in the mailbox since she was unable to meet us there. Will definitely be staying there again.
Jennifer wrote us a welcome note, and provided coffee supplies as well as linens and toiletries.
Nice welcome note since she couldn't greet us. Comfortable place for a couple. Everything was as described!
It was nice. Very quant.
Jennifer was able to let us check in a couple of hours early, which was extraordinarily kind. She left the key in the mailbox so we didn't have the opportunity to meet her, but she left a note welcoming us and giving contact details if she was needed. As it turned out, everything was fine and we had no need to contact her until we had packed everything and were leaving - then I sent a text to notify her. This is a very quiet and private neighborhood which was exactly what we were looking for. Although the home is close to the next house on Beall there is a thick hedge in between. On the first street side the home is adjoined by a large vacant lot.
This was my 2nd stay at The Goldenrod - I love that it's so close to downtown - a nice walk up Beall and left on 3rd with many beautiful old houses. Very clean and quiet, fast wifi. I plan to stay there again on my next visit to Bardstown!
This place was adorable and very clean and comfortable. It was a nice quick walk to downtown Bardstown and had everything we needed. Thanks to our host! I'd definitely recommend it.
Wow, we loved having Jennifer around for nearly an entire month! She managed to remain so calm and quiet while on her yogic journey, but incredibly fun to chat with when the occasion arose. It was an honor to host another beautiful soul from the Louisville area and we hope to have the honor to see her and maybe her family next time!
Jennifer and her husband were great. They were quiet and considerate. They left our place very neat and tidy. We only wish they could have stayed longer....
Jennifer and her husband were so great. I would love to have them stay again!!
