Fun loving outgoing person. Very resourceful and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the city. Kundalini yoga freak... Meaning I'll travel around the world to be with my fellow peeps and get my meditation on.

We had a great time in Esther's beautiful loft. The neighborhood is industrial and busy during the day, and very quiet and hip at night. There are a lot of cool little bars with a great selection of craft beers. It's a safe and friendly environment with great acces to the L Train which takes you to Manhattan in a blink. However we recommend to check out the Brooklyn lifestyle just as much. At Esthers place you get the feeling of actually living in Brooklyn, instead of just staying at some touristy Manhattan Hotel.
This place really has everything you could wish for. Except for Wifi, but you'll find that pretty much everywhere else in NYC. Thanks Esther for having us!
Hi Esther, thanks for sharing your home with us. We had a great visit and really enjoyed the neighborhood. We really appreciated you showing us around. The loft was exactly as shown in the photos and the air conditioner kept the place comfortable the whole time. Also, the bed was very comfortable!
Place is about 2 blocks from the Subway and food. Perfect cant fault this place id 100% stay again next visit!
Noise was not even a issue.
We had a great time staying at Esther´s apartment. This place was just perfect for my friend and I. Esther has been extremely careful and kind, so easy with the check in and check out, she made us feeling at home from the first moment. She also gave us a quick walk through her wonderful, lively neighbourhood. We would definitely recommend this place! Thank you Esther!
Esther's place is exactly as advertised and she was really easy to communicate with and accomodating. Unfortunately, our flights were something like 6 hours late but, she was completely flexible and understanding (thank you Esther!). The apartment is a gorgeous loft and super comfy, it easily fit four of us. It has everything you need to feel at home. As mentioned, there is a car crushing business right outside, so there was a little noise but, we didn't find it bothersome...it was actually really cool to see.
Leave it up to Airbnb but, you'd never get to stay in a place like this without it. It's really unique! The neighbourhood is pretty awesome, tons of really good coffee shops and places to eat/drink. I would like to recommend Kave Espresso bar and Roberta's Pizza. But, do your research beforehand, a lot of the good spots have kind of non-descript/hard to find entrances. Worth the hunt though!
It's also right by the train to get into Manhattan. One last tip...make sure you've got the directions on your phone or a map. Most of the cabs we took didn't know the areas all that well and got a bit lost.
I would definitely stay here again when in Brooklyn!
My overall experience was great and Esther was an awesome host! This was my first time in New York so I didn't know what to expect about the neighborhood but it was very artsy. I felt more at ease walking around the neighborhood after Esther gave us a 15 minutes tour around the neighborhood. There are many cute restaurants, pubs and coffee shops in the area. This was perfect because it gave me an opportunity to get a real feel about Brooklyn. The place was exactly like the pictures and perfect for our girls trips. It was three of us but the place could fit 5 if needed. I would definitely stay at Esther's place again upon my next visit to New York.
Exactly as advertised. When you imagine a big New York loft with lots of artistic energy, you'd get something a lot like this. The large open space was perfect for the 5 of us who wanted the trip to be as much about hanging out as it was about seeing NY. The 2 beds and the couch were all comfy.
Esther wasn't around, but her friend Andriana helped us with check in and she was nothing but sweet and friendly. They accommodated our early check-in no problem. We were 3 minutes walk to the L-train, then another 10-15 minutes to reach Manhattan. If you know the city, that's a quicker ride downtown than the top of the island.
Esther was a really great host. She accommodated me in an early check in. The place was as advertised, and the ambient lighting was really great at night. Bed was surprisingly really comfortable.
Esther was a great host in making me feel welcomed in her lovely home! It was comfortable and great if you don't mind waking up early with a little noise from the car demolition site next door, however, it was pretty quiet over the weekend :)! It worked great for me and is a very cozy spot! The projector was a fun way to watch films too, she had some movies set out which we watched, along with some fresh fruit for snacks :) It was a short walk to the train and the convenient spot made my stay very nice; the bed was comfortable which was lovely to go to after walking all day in the city, and the area very spacious! Would definitely want to go back again :)!
Esther is the friendliest host you could ask for. The place was just as expected and surrounded with a warming personality, derived from the owner ;). We had a great time staying there, and couldn't have asked for a place or host.
I stayed at Esther's place last summer. I was blown away by the beauty and spaciousness of her apartment. It was also really close to the subway stop. There were a bunch of really cool places near her to eat also. For a true Brooklyn experience, with a lovely space - stay here!
