Ashvini was very available and helpful (especially when my arrival was delayed by finding it hard to find) when my driver could not find the house. Gurgaon is notorious for this.
The next morning, Ashvini's brother dropped me at my meeting. Very nice and helpful.
Having said that, the facilities were not good value. I travel extensively (in India 4-5 times per year) and tried 3 Airbnb properties in Gurgaon as I am here/there regularly and need to find a couple as regulars.
Apart from being hard to find - limited identifiers in the area, the room was very plain, with just a bed and polyester cover, no sheet. The nominated bathroom had no hot water and only after inquiring did I get told about the other bathroom with hot water - which I later discovered how to turn on but the tank is tiny and provides very little warm water! The first bathroom was quite unclean and was obviously 'lived in', which made me wonder if the room is used by someone and only vacated when a 'guest' books.
The lounge room had no chair etc, very odd
As a business traveller wifi is essential, as I use devices which are not always suitable for CAT 5 cables ie: into the wall. Due to this alone I could not recommend this property to the business traveller.
Overall, the household were friendly but the whole area, where the rooms are located, needs a good clean and furnishings to be provided - bedside lamps are a must.
Not good value at the $41 I paid and outrageous at the $65+ I now see it is listed for.
