My name is Jenn and I have been living near Barcelona for almost 3 years. When I can, I try to travel as much as possible and try new foods! :)
I had two goals in staying at a B&B in Granollers: (1) I was in desperate need of peace, quiet and sleep--even though my arrival would be mid-day. (2) I wanted to wander some interesting part of Granollers--"old town". BOTH Goals were perfectly met. The room was at the end of a hallway, no traffic passing it; even though Jennifer and her husband were home, I heard nothing; I slept as if I were in my own home and all alone. Perfect! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom (just steps away was perfectly clean, the water hot, the shower strong--what more could I ask? (2) Both Jennifer and her husband were quick to give me directions to find a good (=affordable and tasty) place to eat (even on a Sunday afternoon), and to show me how to find the famous old church (five minutes walk from their home). The couple are friendly without being overwhelming--they don't expect you to socialize if you don't want to, and yet are clearly warm and welcoming (even offered to share the pubic areas of their home, like the living room, kitchen and balcony) if you want. All in all, this was an ideal place to stay, and I am now planning to arrive in Granollers a day early each year when my work takes me there, just so that I can enjoy staying here again!
Jennifer and her friend were great guests! They were polite and kind and put up with the mess I had in the apartment. Would recommend as guests.
