I work at a bank up in New York... love to travel and learn about the world
Only wish I could stay longer!
It was kinda last minute to book with Brandon, but he is simply amazing to make all the communication super easy, he was out of town but he sent his friend to help me settle down when I arrived.
I stayed here 2 days by myself. It will be spacious even for two, and has everything you ever need, plus laundry machine and dryer!! Definitely a rare find in the city.
Francis is as lovely as a cat can be, he made such a good company during my stay, welcomed me at the door every time I came back home, yes it felt like being home.
Brandon was a great host. All communication was easy and quick (very helpful when you can't use your phone). The location of the apartment is great for sightseeing (you can even walk all the way to the south sea port if you have the same motivation as me) and the couch is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Brandon's place to anyone wanting to see New York.
As the other reviews have said Brandon is a great host. I had another reservation fall through and needed to find something on very short notice. Brandon responded almost immediately and helped avert a potential disaster. He was very prompt in all communications and was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable, the washing machine and dryer is really handy. Frank the cat was good company, real affectionate. If you want to stay upper east side, Brandon's place is the way to go.
This place is is the best! Brandon is a terrific host. Great communication, we missed him but he was able to hook up with our friends and sort keys. The location is fantastic and the apartment is very comfortable, laundry facility is a bonus it suited us perfectly, we will definitely rebook when back in NYC.
Amazing!!! Brandon's was a great host, we had to phone him a few times as we got ourselves in quite a pickle and he was cool about it! His apartment is in a great location. There is so many shops and dining close by to the apartment.. you need to check out Pizza Park and Bagel Works!! Yum Yum! The apartment is a good size for 3 people and it was very clean. Now on to Fat Frank.. this cat is simply AMAZING!!!..If you don't mind a few cuddles.. this is the place for you to stay! I totally recommend it! When we head back to NYC this will be my place to stay!!
AWESOME. Brandon was a great host and this place is what Airbnb is all about. Move in, Have a home, a cat, a kitchen, a great shower, small but perfectly formed and in a terrific location, Supermarket across the street, great coffee shops and an amazing Mexican restaurant down the street. FAT CAT FRANK! Such a great space to base yourself while exploring NYC. Convenient, cozy, cool, cheap and crazy. Definitely grab your chance with this AirBnB Gem. But not if I am in town :)
Brandon's pad was a great place to stay for the weekend! Its in a great, upscale neighbourhood with plenty of good dining options within a few blocks, and has easy access to the subway. The five floor walk up will keep you in shape!
While I didn't get a chance to meet Brandon, we spoke on the phone a few times and his communication was quick and much appreciated. He gave lots of good suggestions of places to enjoy in the area; he is clearly passionate about travel and we were very comfortable staying in his place. The apartment was tidy and inviting, his cat Frank is very affectionate and fun and Brandon thoughtfully left out a lint roller to keep the cat hair at bay!
I slept in the VERY comfortable bed (better than mine at home!) and my friend found the sectional sofa very cozy. Bathroom was clean and he left a shelf free for us. While we didn't use the kitchen, it looked well appointed and clean. I would definitely stay at Brandon's place again, highly recommended!
One word on general: Amazing!!! The location is wonderful, in walking distance to the central park. The couch is comfortable. And the neighborhood is good.
Brandon is a great host, I was afraid I would feel lonely in NYC, but his hospitality changed my mind. He not only showed me where I should visit as a tourist, but also took me into New Yorkers' life which I appreciated a lot. When weekends, he asked his friend Ali go shopping with me and I made friends with her too. The week I stayed there was wonderful.
The car-Francis is very adorable and he likes me so much, at least I thought so.
And the bagle shop is worth trying, the most deleicious bagle I ever had.
I will miss NYC and go back to visit not only NYC is amazing but also my friend Brandon, Ali and Francis are there!!!
I spent 8 nights in Brandon's apartment with 2 friends. We really had a great time there!
The apartment has a very nice location, in a very typical and calm neighborhood (just like you see in the movies) and secure
- Nearby there are lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets
- The bed is very comfortable
- the host really cares about you. He really wants you to feel welcomed in NYC
. close to the subway – it’s a 5 minute walk
. the flat is small but has everything you need, very well equipped
. we felt very welcomed (a bottle of wine and a note with everything we needed to know about the apartment and other recommendations for our trip in NYC)
. Francis, the cat, is a really nice cat, so no worries :)
it’s a 6th floor with no elevator. Only bad when you have to carry on the bags. But you only have to do that when you arrive right? :)
This apartment is definitively the best choice!
Cool young professional, laid back and fun to be around! Glad he was on my houseboat during hurricane Sandy, He saved my dinghy during 50 knot winds from completely sinking by bailing it in the heat of the storm, managed to navigate small skiff in high wind. In general gave me peace of mind knowing he could handle and take care of the "Lady Love" 5 star cat!
