Had a wonderful stay. The apartment is just like it looks in the photos, with an amazing view overlooking Battery Park and you really can see the Statue of Liberty from the bed! Nathan was a great host. He allowed me to leave my bags there after an early morning flight even though check in wasn't until much later. The apartment was just right, easy walks to shopping, food, Wall St, the World Trade Center. And just feet from the subway stations. All very convenient. Would highly recommend this place and host.
The reservation was canceled 15 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Nathan helped us out when another host cancelled our reservation and this turned out to be the greatest airbnb experience of our vacation trip. He was the perfect host, from the first communication to the easy and convenient check-in/-out. He met us as arranged to give us the keys and showed us the apartment. Throughout our stay he kept in touch, and I'm sure if there had been any problem he would have helped to solve it.
The apartment itself looked exactly as the pictures show, it was clean, comfortable and there was enough space for our stuff. And the best thing, you really could see the Statue of Liberty from the bed!
The location is also unbeatable, with a deli just downstairs and the bowling green subway station around the corner.
I can highly recommend Nathans apartment, and can't thank him enough for making our stay unforgettable!
Nathan was very helpful and accomodating! The apartment is fantastic with great views over Liberty and Staten island. A very comfortable stay with a boutique hotel feel. Highly recommended!
I've known Nathan for over seven years and he is one of the nicest, smartest , courteous and trustworthy individuals I've ever come across (I manage a bar in Manhattan and I meet a LOT of people). He started out as a regular patron and over the years we've developed a great friendship. Very respectful of others and someone you'd want to be in your corner in your time of need. A great person.
Nathan is a great, tidy, honest, trustworthy guy. Having worked with and known him around 4 years, I feel pretty well qualified to say that you'll find everything exactly as described. The only word of caution i would have is for his pet tiger - whatever you do, don't open the closet unless you have raw meat to feed the tiger. Aside from the snake pit, the rest of the apartment is great - and it's a great Lower Manhattan (okay, call it FiDi) location.
Rent from him, you won't be disappointed.
