A wonderfully situated, spacious and totally updated flat in the beautiful south Kensington neighborhood. Everything is a short walk away: the underground that can get you anyplace in the city quickly: two markets and loads and loads of good affordable restaurants of every kind. Kathryn's caretaker, Ray, met us promptly and told us all we needed to know. No reason whatsoever to stay in a pricey hotel instead of this.
Great location, spacious apartment, great bed, all the amenities that you could ask and best of all near to three main underground lines which makes getting around London a breeze. There are all the shops you would ever need food wise just around the corner matched with a close proximity to the V and A, the British Museum and Hyde Park. The communication with Kathryn was easy and prompt. Hope to return next year
The apartment is very nice and spacious and in a lovely neighborhood in South Kensington. The walk to the tube & bus stops are both short and easy. The whole neighborhood is picturesque. The apartment is in the basement and does not allow for easy buggy access (you have to carry it up and down a flight of steps). Ray was at the apartment to meet us and prompt in any requests we made.
I am my wife spent one month at Kathrin's flat and it couldn't be better. The flat reached all our expectations. We loved. Everything worked perfectly, the kitchen is very well equipped and, even being a basement, the flat is not dark. The light comes trough in by the big glass doors of the open area. The neighbourhood is lovely, with a lot of options for eat or just have a drink. We recommend the Byron Burger, Le Coptour Libaneise and the Cacciari's, but you should avoid Bella Italia. The pizzeria besides the Byron Burges is excellent also. The flat is near the South Kensington Tube Station and 10 minute walk to the Hyde Park. Furthermore, there are 3 bike stations nearby. We had a fantastic experience there and strongly recommend
Perfect stay in South Kensington. This was my second stay at Kathryn's apartment and just as enjoyable. Our friends were staying in the hotel across the road and very envious of our lovely accommodation. South Kensington is a great part of London to stay in and you will find all your home comforts provided here.
A well located, spacious, and nicely appointed home that is both very comfortable and practical in its design, furnishing and decor. Transport of every kind, restaurants, services and other amenities all within walking distance not to mention many of London's key attractions.
Really enjoyed staying in Kathryn's flat - good location in South Kensington and the flat itself was nicely furnished and huge. Raymond was very good with communications prior to my arrival and was very good with showing me around the flat when I arrived. It's within walking distance to both South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations, and there's a big Waitrose to get supplies at Gloucester Road. Everything I needed was in the apartment and it was like a home-away-from-home. Thanks Kathryn and Raymond!
Very spacious, comfortable apt in a great location. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in London
Thank you Veronica for your nice words. We enjoyed hosting you and would definitely welcome you back again when you are next in London!
Kathryn's apartment was the perfect home-away-from home for us while visiting London. Ray met us on-time as promised, showed us everything we needed to know, and it could not have been easier to check-in. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully renovated, the beds are comfortable, and it easily accommodated our family of three. Plus, while it doesn't have a view, it's incredibly quiet which was good for sleeping with jet lag. The extra half-bath was a bonus and the kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts and snacks as well as an efficient dishwasher and washer/dryer. But the best of all is the fabulous, perfect location, five minutes from the South Kensington tube station, near great restaurants, cafes, grocery and wine stores, and of course the park and museums nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and could not have been happier.
I love the South Kensington area so I chose this apartment for the location, which is ideal for the London experience. It is a great neighborhood with restaurants, shopping and local shops for groceries, etc.
The apartment is on a quiet cul-de-sac and has all the amenities that you need. It is comfortable and feels very much like home.
The bed is super comfortable and I love all the blankets that are in the home that make it feel very cozy.
This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to come to London.
