Cat an I met at the Mapleleaf in New Orleans about six years ago. Shortly after that Catherine was awarded a two year grant for her work with elephants that took her all over the world. At the same time my job as a custom home builder in New Orleans was at it's peak. Some how during this time we managed to keep our relationship strong and visited each other until Catherine's return to New Orleans in 2009, where she took a job as a regular veterinarian. Around this time I was getting a little tired of the whole building scene. I have a degree in Theatre from way back when. I decided I wanted to give acting a shot! I was excepted to The Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC. Cat was offered a job through Columbia University! We have been living in Manhattan for over two years now. We find the pursuit of our dreams to be just as exciting as we find it challenging. The journey has been very rewarding and I hope it continues to surprise us as we move forward.
About a year before we moved to NYC I finished our home. Before going back to acting I put all my passion into my work. It didn't matter if it was a clients home or my very own. If you take a good look at the pictures of our home you will see the quality of work and the detail that went into the house. Every piece of wood, including the end tables, bed, handrails, etc. were all made on site and install by me and my guys. I had the freedom to build what I wanted and my passion took over. I love our home.
