We had a wonderful weekend at Klara's apartment (5 ppl altogether).
The place is on the 2nd floor of the house, has a really pleasant atmosphere, nicely furnished and full of lights. It was designed by Klara, she was an architect. The whole apartment is one airspace, so It's comfortable for families or close friends, perhaps a little less for separate couples. The kitchen, bathroom, everything is fully equipped. The house is located in pleasant, quite neighborhood, it is about 15-20 minutes walking to the city center. There's really good quality wine tasting place just a couple of minutes away.
Klara is very friendly and talkative, we also had received a bottle of local wine and some snack when we arrived. The family has very charming cats as well.
I can absolutely recommend the place!
Really nice 2nd and 3rd floor. Beautiful woodwork throughout. Great views to the wine valley in one direction and the city in the other. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice and quiet neighbor hood. Great balcony with views.Wish we had stayed longer
Communication was with Klara before our visit but we did not meet her when we were there. There was no house number in the address given so when we got to the street, we telephoned them to find the house. They live in the same premises but in a separate house.
Klara's husband, son & mother were there to show us around complete with homemade strudel & a bottle of wine! Maps & brochures & tips on where to go & eat were provided which was welcomed.
We had a car, so location was good for us. There is a shopping mall 2 minutes drive away & so is the centre of town.
We were 2 adults & a child but there was room for 6 in all. A nice little wooden chalet with all that we needed.
Very pleasant and quiet house with a lot of room. Klara made us feel welcome and ad home.
Very nice apartment and nice hosts.
We had a wonderful stay at Komfort Apartman and thanks a lot to Klara and her family for them hospitality. Apartment was very clean and comfortable, in a very good peaceful location, with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, very well equipped kitchen with all the necessary and good wi-fi. Thanks for all!!!
Klara was very kind and picked us up from the bus station (it was raining). The apartment was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed, including a bottle of wine from Klara. It's walking distance from the center and if it happens to be raining, cabs are surprisingly plentiful and affordable in Eger. You may find the beds a bit hard, but other than that, we would definitely recommend the place.
What a great place to stay in. It was amazing that it was all made by the owner, I mean everything furniture and all! The apartment itself is on two floors with two double beds connected and then two more beds upstairs. The space is very bright and airy and the heating is great. Everyone was so friendly they picked us up from the train station and showed us all around the city and then drove us back to the train station when we checked out. Additionally we had cake which his mother made for us and apples from his garden, what wonderful hospitality! The apartment isn't far from the city, maybe 15 minutes walking. Be warned though that you need to buy a really good map or print out something from (website hidden) Maps as we became lost several times. The only other issue I'd mention is that the beds aren't very comfortable. The downstairs beds were ok though still rather hard but the upstairs beds felt like resting on concrete. I am sure though that this will be fixed as he could add a mattress cushion or something to the beds. Besides those issues our stay was fantastic. The apartment is lovely and an exceptional bargain. I would highly recommend it and will definitely stay there again when I return to Eger.
Perfect stay with a perfect Klara. She made as welcome food a yammy appel strudel. We will come back again to the magic city Eger.
5 stars is not enough. Son Steve met us at train station. Drove us on a quick oversee of town and Valley of Beautiful Women. Klara had wine, coffee, caupachino, expresso maker, fully equiped kitchen and bath. Wonderful apt. with porch to sit, sip wine, and watch sunset. Pleasant walk into center, big supermarket closer if you're cooking. Klara made both carrot and farmer's cheese strudles, Steve fixed us gulosh. Excellent WiFi. We were only there 3 nights, would have liked more.
