I am a young professional that owns several properties. I know how to treat other peoples home as if it were my own.
We had a great time at Courtney's ski house. The wood burning stove was so much fun and really helped keep the place toasty warm. I wish we had spent more time there, but spent the bulk of the trip on the mountain-- and it was the perfect place for that.
If you go to Stratton, it is much closer to the Sun Bowl entrance and parking lot.
The house was very spacious and comfortable, with high ceiling and lots of space. Perfect for 6 people, manageable for 8. Located less than 15 mins from Mount Snow, super convenient. The host was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.
The house is adorable, perfect for a weekend getaway. My friends and I had a great time. The house is comfortable and tucked away. Courtney answered any questions I had leading up to the trip quickly and kindly.
House was nice. There are some beautiful features. Walls are paper thin but not abnormal for a cabin. The stove is great and its proximity to Mt. Snow was awesome.
It snowed 18 inches while we were there. Courtney had someone plow within a few hours.
Overall- solid house for the price.
The house is conveniently 20 min from Stratton. Basic home with a small tv, radio, no wifi (which was fine for me to have a digital break) and also little cell reception. A nice basic base for skiing.
Great house, well maintained. The fireplace puts out some great heat! Nestled in a small community halfway between Mt. Snow and Stratton. Courtney was very accommodating.
Beautiful, quaint, well kept ski home in Wardsboro Vermont. The place has a very cabin in the woods feel with a real wood burning fireplace, wooden walls/furniture, and quaint decorations. Only ~20 minutes from Stratton mountain, this offers a great alternative to staying in one of the much more expensive condo homes run by Stratton nearer to the mountain.
Courtney was very nice, accommodating, and kept in contact with us throughout the whole experience, making sure everything worked out. We had a broken heater upon arrival, and Courtney did everything she could to get a technician in to fix the heater as soon as possible.
Would highly recommend.
- The house is pretty and functional
- Well heated
- About 35 minutes from Stratton by car
- Plan to get a 4WD car if you go there in the winter time. Snow can be heavy as was the case for us
- Very quiet environment
- With ATT you can get 1 or 2 bars with slow internet connection (but it works), folks who use Verizon seems to be out of luck though.
