Kenava was very helpful and picked us up from the airport in Sarajevo. The apartment was lovely and had a lot of old-world charm. We really felt like Sarajevans for a night. The city is a little bit of a drive, which was not much of a problem for us, since we had a rental car. The yard was full of fruits and greenery. The kitchen was very well-stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. Overall a great experience, and would highly recommend.
We stayed one night in the apartment. And for that night everything was really good. The apartment is very close to the airport, which was the most important thing for us - so this was great. We got a warm welcome and everything was clean. We also had a safe parking lot for our car.
The house was large and plenty of room. However communication with the host was difficult. We tried calling the hist several times on the day of arrival and the day before to no avail.
So we had to show up and hope for the best. When we got there we waited for a while and the host's mother showed up. The number on airbnb is not a Bosnian number we had to spend a bit of moneuvon phone calls trying to get through to the host.
The place is close to the airport but takes a while to get into the city. 10 euro cab ride, this was alright as we were only there for the one night. Wireless does not work
The apartment is OK, the heating is not the best for winter time but it does the trick, for summer it is perfect. It is still close to the center by car or by bus so we had a blast! There were 5 of us and none of us missed anything. You have everything you need and the owners are nice, they even came to fix some problems at 23:00 with no problem whatsoever.
We couldn't be happier with our stay at Kenavas house - lovely people and lovely location. Specially recomended if you are travelling with children - the garden is wonderfully spacious and our daughter loved playing in it.
We stayed for one night in Kenavas house in Sarajevo. His parents met us at the house - even though our bus were two hours late, and we couldn't contact them, they waited for us. They were such nice people, and his father walked us to the nearest bus station into the city, very very kind of him and really appreciated! The house is a 15 mins bus ride to the city centre, but it's no hassle getting to the bus. Highly recommended and we wish them all the very best!
Pleasant experience, Kenava's father picked us up at the train station and walked us to the airport. House is fine, in a quiet neighbourhood, interestingly adjacent to two bombed-out and/or abandoned houses. Only quibble is that the wireless internet that is described as "available on request" is actually at another location, from what we could tell a 15 minute drive away; so you could check your e-mail on arrival in a pinch, but it's not much more useful than that. All in all, a fantastic deal for the price.
I had a pleasant stay at the house. It is located near the airport. There is a bus stop at 10 mins walk from where the bus takes you to the centre. Kenava'a parents were very kind and friendly. They picked me up from the airport and dropped me there too.
Great having you as a guest, thank you very much!
Hope you had a comfortable stay!
Kenava and his group / family are friendly and very nice. As they are also AIrbnb host, they took good care of my apartment, thanks for keeping it spotless and orderly. If they inquire about your flat, rest assured that they are great guests, and I feel that they are excellent host as well.
Kenava and his lovely family were the perfect guests. Communication was smooth at all stages and the place was left exactly as it was before their arrival. I would welcome Kenava and his family back any time and happily recommend them to any future Airbnb hosts.
