Livia Giammaria, half french half italian, 27 years old, Filmmaker

Livia's apartment in Paris was a great choice to stay. Well located (near the Nation square). The apartment is small, but perfect for a couple. Livia's mother (Sonia) was who received us. She was very kind and helpful, waiting us with a coffee. She also show us directions, and recommended good places to eat near the apartment. She speaks english very well, and reply your e-mails very fast too. So, I recomend.
Livia´s appatment is a wonderful and stylish place. We loved everytime to come "home", after our walks around the city (the appartment is located perfect, just around the corner of Pantheon.) There are lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Therefore we feel like locals.
It´s very cosy and calm.
I have to mentioned that only one bed is real bed, the other one is a small couch. For us it was okay. Also this couch is located on a gallery without railing. I wouldn´t recomend for families with children.
All togehter we had a great time and if we will come back to Rome, we will definitly come back to Livia´s place.
We were in Paris for 6 days, 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment is really too small for 4 people and is really comfortably suited for 1-2 people. The foldout sofabed was really uncomfortable, the apartment itself seems very lived in and was very, very cluttered. It really needs a good deep cleaning: we had to hand wash every dish, glass, fork, knife and spoon we used as they were all quite dirty and covered in food. There is a heavy layer of dust on everything and overall the apartment did not feel clean. It's in a typical Paris apartment building, old with lots of charm and character, but it was easy to hear neighbors - and people across the courtyard had several very late and very loud parties while we were there. All of that said, the location is fantastic and was the best part of our stay. The neighborhood is very lively and has everything you could want in terms of shops, cafes, restaurants, and easy access to sightseeing. Livia's mother, Sonia helped get us checked in and situated and she is very nice and helped answer any questions we had. She has a large binder filled with apartment and neighborhood information. We also let Sonia know about the cleanliness situation and she said she was getting a new cleaning maid.
Great neighborhood, very close to the metro station, felt very secure.
Very cosy Parisian appartment. Really nice and welcoming host.Well decorated and clean. Close to the subway. It is situated in a great neighborhood with very nice&affordable restaurants and bars you will find on every single streetcorner. We really had a great time here.
The terrace must be fantastic in summertime- it is larger than it looks on the picture, the appartment is a bit smaller than it looks on the pictures(but very Parisian I think), but we stayed with the 3 of us and it was great!
Even stuff for breakfast is provided :-)
If we have to give some suggestions/critic: The bed is rather small (140x200 cm) and not a ''king size bed' as discribed.
Livias apartment is nice, well equipped, location right in the center of the city, one minute walk to the Pantheon, very silent during the night, clean, nice furniture, from our side it could not be much better - it's a clear recommendation.
A well located apartment in a central area of Le Marais. Very close to all stores of convenience and food, great food, and everything else you need to see and do while in Paris.
The central living room has everything you require including a comfortable foldout bed. The seperate main bedroom has a bed that possibly requires new mattress and a large window that opens up to a private courtyard, so the apartment is quiet at night which is great.
This kitchen, although small has everything you need including a washing machine for your clothes. The bathroom has a bath but no freestanding shower so bathing will become a daily adventure that will bring you a little closer to the Parisian way of life. Sonia, Livia’s mother, will probably be your contact and she is great. Recommended.
Livia's apartment is well equipped with the essentials.
In terms of Location, I would have to say it's PERFECT! It's in the central and yet on a quiet street. Public bus stations (to major attraction sites) are just 4 mins walk from the apartment; 2 mins walk to Carrefour Express; 8 mins walk to Palazzo Venezia & Capitoline Museums; 19 mins walk to Colosseum...and it's just simply convenient.
2 thumbs up!
My husband and I would thoroughly recommend this quaint Parisian apartment. The location is perfect being in easy walking distance to a number of metro stations. Whilst it is in the heart of all the fabulous shopping, restaurant and bar action of the Marais, it is set overlooking an internal courtyard which means it is very peaceful and quiet at night. Although this a one bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger. The layout with the lovely windows overlooking the courtyard garden made it a tranquil retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. We felt as though we were Parisians for a week. It was an authentic experience that you would not experience in a hotel. Livia's Mother was there to greet us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful, speaking fluent English which helped with explanations. The lack of shower curtain and 2 flights of steps are minor inconveniences when you consider the other advantages. We will certainly look forward to staying there again when next we are in Paris.
