I lived in NY from (phone number hidden) and I arrived in the city again in 2009. Since then I am back permanently.
I work as a freelance in music and filmmaking and tour guiding. I am a Nichiren Daishonin buddhism follower. I am Italian. I play only great funky, afrobeat, nigerian psychedelic, be bop, 30's 40's 50's 60's italian and napolitain, 90's electronica and house, 80's masters, 70's rock and psychedelic one, reggae roots and dub, ska e calypso, cumbia, John Lennon, music in my house. Outside we have our west indian african friends playing their great stuff. I bike. I fortunately read novels, essays and musicians biographies and watch mainly (beautiful) evocative anthropic XXth century movies. I go to museums only when the great artists of the past are shown. Contemporay artistic expression shown in NY galleries and fairs doesn't move me or cause me any excitment or emotions but maybe this is what is supposed to do as reflection of the spirit of our times. I go to concerts and to listen to live acts in small not pretentious venues. My last trip was to Haiti.
