We had an amazing time in ny!
Yangs apartment was perfect, cozy and exactly what we expected. The ideal spot for holidays!
Placed in a wonderful corner with many beautiful windows and its fully equipped.
It has two markets in front (one of them open 24 hours)
Its just a few minutes from manhattan and the subway is less than 1minute walk. If you walk 3 blocks you have an amazing view of the city, and there are lovely restaurants and cafes on the same block.
The communication with Yang was quick and efficient.
We definitely recomend Yang s apartment and hope to be there again!!!
Ci siamo trovati benissimo.
We had a great stay and Yang is a nice and generous host. Everything worked as expected. The location of the apartment is excellent. Close to two subway-stations, Brooklyn bridge, restaurants, cafés and grocery stores. The street is calm at night and the bed is comfortable.
The pictures are somewhat misleading as she moved out of the apartment,(the bookshelves are empty and there are no flowers) and it could be more clean.
Thanks to Yang! It was a nice and cosy place in such a great neighbourhood. Everything worked uncomplicated and quickly: the mailcontacts, the meeting and even some good hints for coffee and nice views around the corner. And Yang was very nice and reliable.
Had a very relaxing time in Yang's place. It was perfect location to travel both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Subway station is literally 1 minute away..
There is 24 hour store right across the street, so it was perfect to buy essentials. Yang was very efficient and straight to the point but at the same time friendly :)))) We would love to stay here when we come back to the city.
Yang met us as we came into Penn Station to give us keys and last minute instructions as she was on the way to a show at the time. The best thing about the studio is the great location, it is very convenient to two subway stops, one just a block away, getting anywhere tourists are likely to go was easy by subway alone. I don't know if she just took many of the decorations out during the summer but the studio itself if functional albeit spartan and the bed is comfortable.
Yang was a great a host and so was her apartment. It was exactly as shown in the pictures and was perfect for our stay. The location was fabulous - just a short few minute walk to the A train meaning you could be in Midtown in just 15 minutes. It was also really close to the 2 & 3 trains and just a bit further to the 4 train making it a perfect base to get around and do all the things we wanted to. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great too. If you stay in this area make sure you take the short walk down to Brooklyn Heights Promenade and the Fruit Street sitting area - wonderful views of Manhattan day or night. We took the opportunity this time to walk across the Manhattan Bridge rather than the Brooklyn - the views were stunning and worth doing. The area feels totally safe, even at night and there is the added bonus of a 24 hour store right across the road from the apartment. The AC in the apartment meant that after a day of walking around in the hot early summer sunshine you could get back and cool down before heading out at night. Another great thing to do is to take the A train to Jay St Metro Tech walk across the platform and change to the F train which goes all the way to Coney Island - if you are here on a summer weekend don't forget to check out the free fireworks at Coney Island at 9.30pm on the Friday night. All in all this was a great base, Yang was a great host and although she's arranged for someone to meet us with the keys when we got there we were really pleased to get the chance to meet her and say thanks in person on our last day. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future and would certainly recommend her as a host to anyone considering staying here. Thank you
Yang is a very nice host and was really easy to contact if needed.
The apartment is really nice and cosy. Also the location is great - just like Yang wrote in the description.
Maybe the cleanliness could be improved.
It was a very nice stay and we recommend the apartment and Yang as a host!
The studio is perfectly located close to Manhattan and Prospect Park (Brooklyn) and right next to the subway which makes it very easy and fast to go to different parts of city. Yang was a nice and helpful host, for example when we told her that it was bit cold at night, Yang was very effective in providing us with an extra heater. The apartment itself is small and cleanliness could be improved.
It's a clean and cozy apartment looks just like in the photos and located in a very convinient location. One step from restaurants ("Fortune House" is strongly recommended), bar and a grocery. One block next to a subway red line and all other major lines in walking distance from the apartment so basically you can reach any destination in NYC without transfer.
The small historic neighbourhood is very nice and close to Brooklyn Bridge Park which has a great view to the Lower Manhattan.
Oh, and last but not least Yang is a great host. :)
