Great location. Close to many subway lines and conveniently located across the street from a large grocery market that seemed to be open all the time.
The apartment is a comfortable clean place that is conveniently located next to several major subway lines and the waterfront. Yang was a thoughtful host, and her taste in decor makes the experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this place.
Yang is an excellent host. She met us promptly to drop off the keys and was available to us if we needed her.
Her apartment is wonderful. It is the perfect size for a couple and we had a vey comfortable stay. The kitchen, bathroom and living room were all very neat and tidy. The kitchen is fully functional and the water pressure is perfect.
The apartment is in a very nice part of Brooklyn Heights and has many fine restaurants nearby. The subway lines are also all very close.
Overall, this is a fantastic place.
Yang is a very nice and friendly woman, she was easy to contact and waited for us for a late check in. Her appartement is in a great part of Brooklyn, near the bridge and there's a lot of restaurants, shops and bars in the street. All the subways you might need are in the neighborhood. The appartement is just like in the pictures, very nice, big enough for 2 and clean. The one thing you might need to be carefull about is the temperature : There's no heating so if you come during the winter it might get very cold. so I would recommand the place to any summer NY visitor!
Small studio apartment in excellent location. Ideal for short stays. Close to many Metro subway stations.excellent services nearby, 24hour corner store across the street. Host very helpful.
We spent five nights at Yang's. Her studio is small but clean and cosy, and the bed is very comfortable. The location is wondeful with lots of little restaurants and cafes, a dry cleaner two doors down the street and a 24/7 grocery store accross the street. The waterfront is only a few blocks away, and it's possible to take a ferry to Williamsburg, to Manhattan and to other places, even though the nearest metro station is one block from the studio. The only downside is the noisy a/c (wich was a must since it was hot when we were there), but it was not a problem for me with earplugs.
Klein aber für einen Kurztrip von ein bis zwei Tagen ok.
Yang´s place is very well located. Only a few steps away in the same block is the Subway 123 taking you over to Manhattan in just a few minutes. Brooklyn Bridge and Park are also in a short walking distance, There is a Chinese restaurant and a Pizza place in the same building. Across the street is a Deli with a rich assortment. Both the apartment, bed linen and towels were clean. Kitchen is very small but was well equipped with pots and pans. You really get the feeling of living in a friends apartment because of all of Yang´s personal decorations. The few questions I had was promptly answered by Yang.
The apartment is on second floor. There is no elevator and staircase can seem a bit confined when you come with a heavy suitcase.
All in all I liked my stay in Yang´s place a lot and would be happy to come back if visiting New York again.
We stayed me and my girlfriend in April and found the studio very very well located.
Close to Manhattan, the area is one of the best we found. Good restaurant, cafe and a small cinema theater.
This is a small studio but all you need.
For the price it could definitely be more clean.
I did not wind up staying at Yang's place. I was scheduled to stay there the day Hurricane Sandy hit the area, but the airports were closed for several days. I am writing this review based on my dealings with Yang, rather than her apartment. She kept in close contact with me the entire time and I was please that she was so accessible. I plan to return to the area soon and I hope that her apartment is available.
