Carolyn was out of town while we were away, but we were greeted by her wonderful neighbor Claudio who welcomed us into the house on a very cold winter night. While Carolyn was away, her delightful friends Deborah and Davio stayed in the house. We had an opportunity to talk with them about travel, our work, our interests - they were kind, warm and made us feel right at home. The house is charming and the room is just as described. Dan and I were there for a couple of days as I was attending a pottery workshop at Snow Farm. We had breakfast at Bread Euphoria and even tried out the local tavern one night. Great location within close distance of Greenfield, Northampton and Amherst.
Carolyn was very pleasant and welcoming as was her home. The location is set amongst the New England woods and is particularly nice if you are looking to get away from a more urban setting. The room was clean, warm, cozy and comfortable and indeed full of light, as the sun beamed through in the morning hours, which was very nice to wake up to. Upon coming downstairs in the morning, we sat with Carolyn at the dining room table and shared a cup of tea while discussing gardening, yoga, and travel, all of which she is very well versed. We were even invited to come to the yoga class that she teaches nearby. Overall the stay was delightful and we would highly recommend staying with Carolyn and experiencing her room full of light!
Carolyn's home is indeed magical. It was so much more than we could ever have expected. It is a place full of grace, peace and beauty; a place that fills the heart and the soul. I am planning to be back anytime I am in need of a retreat. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary home, Carolyn!
Our stay was bathed in sunlight and air. The home is a simple quiet beautiful. The home was exactly as described except the powerful calm that surrounds you can't not be described with words, it truly is a feeling of warmth. The home says stay, cozy up with me, get comfortable and enjoy. Those thoughts are displayed in the flowers our host set out for us, in the welcoming letter we received upon arrival and in the open floor plan.
We feel Blessed, thank you
Beautiful property. Gracious host. I give it the highest rating.
Cute little place full of character and warmth, and a very nice responsive host. One of a kind. Try Euphoria Bakery for breakfast/lunch and check the UMass Fine Art center program.
We had a great time retreating from NYC noise and light. Thank you so much, Carolyn!
All was as promised: lovely room, beautiful house, set in multiple gardens and woodland walks. I appreciated brief use of the kitchen. Hostess was gracious, helpful & friendly. I'd definitely return!
I was trying to arrange an overnight for my mother and ultimately we didn't stay with Carolyn because she had to be out of town. But that said her response was very quick and outstandingly accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to seek her out in the future.

Every room of Carolyn's home was beautiful and filled with calm energy. She was a thoughtful host, and welcomed us to make ourselves at home and spend the day enjoying the porch and the woods nearby. We would be thrilled to return.
